…. Unfortunately or fortunately this game will succeed and will definitely take a % of dcuo players. I’ll check it out myself. I’d prefer a dc moba but hey this looks promising. Looks like an overwatch reskin. Which is great

It's not a MOBA though...It 3rd person Overwatch but arguably better than what's currently out. It has characters people already have an attachment to, is free , and launching on consoles. It has all the juice to succeed.

I'm sure many will at least try out MR....
But....
Will they quit DCUO for it???

I kind of doubt it.

At this point in time, after so many similar posts in the forums along the lines of how "such-and-such game is coming, it's gonna REAALLLYY hurt DCUO!" I'll be honest and say that my initial reaction to reading the thread title was

"....And?"

The only thing that could kill DCUO would be a Marvel MMO that would be at least as good if not better then DCUO.
Another Marvel Heroes would not do it.

I guess the other thing that could kill DCUO is DCUO itself.

Guess we will have to wait and see.

If it doesn't have PvE. Not playing it.

He does have a point. PvP copycats is annoying.
If it has pve. Which can be it's own original style. That's where I'll likely play it.
There's been too many PvP copying.

Marvel Rivals has huge potential to attract a lot of players, including DCUO players. Because it looks like a very fun game to me, especially pvp wise. I was loyal dcuo player and i loved pvp in this game, but then daybreak took it off of me. You can't even imagine how long I've been waiting for a pvp game that would grab my attention like dcuo's pvp did back in 2011, and here we are, that's Marvel Rivals. I think it's not just me but a lot of pvp players waiting for it.

DCUO has lost a lot of loyal players and that's a fact, just take a look at the population in game or server status. The only server that actually holds this game together is the USPC/PS server that remains in the status of ''medium'', rest servers are ''low''.

And honestly i could list a lot of games that DCUO can't even get close to them in terms of population right now and Marvel Rivals is one of them.

Ahh Multiverse dude, i get it, i really do... you're a loyal DCUO player and content creator but I think you're overrating DCUO a bit over other games. Seriously man, DCUO is nothing special in 2024.. I would even say it's a huge pile of glitches and bugs.
