I like how it's so convenient how some Superheroes/villains/anti-heroes have their made-up names already in their name:

For example: Michael Morbius (Morbius), Stephen Strange (Dr. Strange), Victor von Doom (Dr. Doom), etc. What's next?

"Hi, my name is Steve CaptainAmerica, and you are?"

This just shows you how good they are at the details.

Holy space guano! Either they (ie Fiege) had all these movies plotted from the start, or they chucked pretty much every little tidbit (okay, no, the other version of that word it's trying to put in there sounds dirty, so not gonna happen) of Marvel lore they could in case they got the chance of making a movie dealing with that lore and to tie everything together

Fairly sure, if anyone has the time to go over every Marvel movie made since the first Hulk (yes, talking about the Ang Lee movie, the one many don't consider to be a real part of the MCU), you find reference to mutants (and no, not talking about the genetically altered Quicksilver and Scarlet Mallrat)

Spiderman's MCU future is a bit unsure.

    Hey Everyone
Peyton Reed, director of Ant-man and the Wasp revealed that he also pitched the idea for a Fantastic Four film. Reed explained that he wanted to make Fantastic Four as a period piece set in the 1960s, mirroring when they first appeared in the comics. He also had an interesting idea of how to approach the team’s celebrity status.

On a side note, a popular fan casting choice so far, actors and real husband and wife duo John Krasinski and Emily Blunt seem to be the perfect choice for the roles of Mr Fantastic and Sue Storm

Good idea by Reed but wouldn't that make it difficult for it to blend in with the MCU?

I like the casting choices. Dave Franco for Torch and John Cena for Thing?

Sounds like Danvers just issued a challenge to DC :D

Both look awesome! And I just realized how dark the MCU has gotten after seeing the Endgame trailer. People would give a lot of flack for the DCEU of being too dark, but what about know? Anyways, love the darkness on both the MCU and DCEU.

When going dark fits with the story you're trying to tell, it works. The Marvel movies have been building towards this for a while, but even with that build the movies themselves have never been ALL grim or dark.

What DC tried doing ended up being akin to putting a square peg into a round hole. Dark and gritty works well for a character like Batman, but trying to apply it to Superman was a huge stumble (especially when a lot of the ads kept harping on Superman as a symbol of hope). Trying to double down on it with BvS without really working towards it ended up being a trip after the stumble.

Nah, not a trip, a full-on face-plant (you usually stumble after a trip, not trip after a stumble :D )

And is it me or does the Hulk look more and more like Ruffalo on every film. Does this mean Smart Hulk?

Well... Mark Ruffalo does do motion capture for the Hulk so...

This, POO, is why Marvel Stud10s is doing so well: they are not just focusing on The Big Three (plus a fish :p) and rebooting every two years, they are using the entire catalog of characters, and connecting everything, even stand-alone movies, so that what happens in one movie will at least get a mention in others, no matter how small it may have appeared when first mentioned

Not sure which actor that is being Wolverine, butt he looks like a good replacement (depending on who they are and if they can do more than just look the part, of course)
