Most of the gear in game can't have emblems, but a cape is just a blank canvas. We should be able to put something on it.
I agree 100% it should be an option! Hopefully we will be able to one day. Would also like an option to to turn off/on certain animations of certain gear styles like the Ages of Azerath etc. etc. But the cape is a flat surface, and they provide us with plenty of emblems to use, it just makes sense. Make it happen Devs!
I like the idea, but given how things work in the game right now I'm not sure how well it could work. First example I can think of is the Heater Shield style. That style allows you to use your own emblem on the shield itself, but it only shows if you have your emblem active on your costume. The instant you go to "none" for an emblem, it disappears from your shield. If the only way you could have an emblem on a cape was with the same kind of game mechanics, I'd have to disagree with the idea. Seems like an unnecessary hassle to have an emblem on a cape, and it also just seems like overkill on your character. Yes, I know Superman has the "S" shield all over his gear, but he can get away with it, he's Superman. Aesthetically speaking, it's just too much for my tastes.
I like this idea. Too often the emblem on your back or chest is too small to see well. It could be much larger on a cape.
i was surprised to see emblem pop up on my detective trench coat, i checked and it shows up on normal trench coat to, so y not a cape?
