LPVE or stop wasting your life for farm

It's funny they expect people to run those same 12 maps that many times but what's funniest is that we don't have access to 12 maps outside of this event, just 1-2.

yeah but doesn;t the experience you had running all those arena matches count for anything? its not all marks and gear and getting something. this is a video game. all of the time we put into amounts to a whole lot of nothing in the grand scheme of things.

i feel lucky that i've been here since launch and i've gotten to experience everything as it comes..

i had pretty much all the pvp feats out of the way during the games first year. many of those matches were run with friends and leaguemates. it wasn't a grind. it was fun. when i had them all out of the way i still ran matches. i wish pvp arena could go back to the way it was before home turf.

more than anything knowing what to do is usually what leads to success in this game. i wouldn't trade in my experience for anything but things also have to be made a little more accessible for newer and returning players. its easy to get gear and get carried but things that seem too far off won't even be attempted. its those big grinding numbers that prevents a lot of players from running lpve.

i like the "getting credit for group play" suggestion. it would encourage players to find groups vs. blind q's and to play toons they may not normally.

and just exacly how many players have actually finished all those feats anyway? 2?

It depends how you look at it. You and a few others are comparing beating RNG with Collecting Marks and buying from a vendor. That's like comparing Apples with Oranges.

The process of beating RNG to get the drops you want is difficult, absolutely. Far more difficult than collecting marks and buying from a vendor. But entering a low tier piece of content, nuking it and seeing if you got what you were looking for is nowhere near as difficult or time consuming as running relevant content for marks.

Nobody is forcing you to do anything. There are no technological barriers or features preventing you from achieving the LPVE feats. Only an unwillingness to participate, which is not something that I think should be a deciding factor on whether or not a feat should be nerfed.

I mean where do we draw the line? I personally can't stand farming Exobits. So maybe they could bring that down to 15k as that's my next milestone. Farming bits is soul destroying and if you farm just 5 nodes a day, it'll take about 14 years to get the 25,000 feat. That's completely unreasonable. Why should I be forced to slog through them just because some people already have the 25k Exobit feat? Nerf the Exobit feats, I say.

I am not wasting my days. I like running these. I am just tried of people asking to not have to work for things.

Grinding is a part of mmos.

And if it is minimal then why do people need / want these nerfed?

You are right. It isn't a job, so why worry about how long it takes? You aren't on a dead line like a job. Nor do you have to have the SP, so why does it matter how long it takes?

14 years to have all those feats with a single run per day.

Good thing for this week you get like 10 legends a day. Now it is down to 13.6 years?

I like the idea. My opinion is, or they make all maps avaliable forever, like this LPvE weekend or reduce quantity of farming. Maybe not the numbers like the 1st post but a reduce.

There are more than 2 people who have completed the LPvE feats. Some are just missing the DWFe ones, or some others from the episodes to be on top of Wavedox.

Funny, you say people are comparing apples and oranges and then compare farming exos to running lpve.
If you are gonna compare those 2 at least be serious about it and see how many bits you can farm in the same time it takes to do an average lpve run. Then tell me if it comes close to those 14 years. Well don't. I know it doesn't, so yeah..apples and oranges.
Not to mention farming is something you can do in those 2/3 minutes you are waiting for a group to be formed or for some queues to pop.

Like you said, it's perspective. People play with and myself have gotten those collecting feats from pvping. The question times used to be bad.

Exos and Lpve are no comparison. Certain Lpves can easily take 15min+ like Watchtower,Paradox, Smallville etc You could find dozens of exos in that time depending on your methods. As someone said also you can exo hunt during waiting for a q.Aswell Exos are really important for progression for mods and you can make cash too.

14 years if u run it once a day. but u can run it infinite times a day right? yes u wont get MoL but ppl who are trying to complete lpve feats should already have all legends characters anyway so MoL is worthless. and "farming" those feats isn't that bad if u have a group. and lets not forget LPVE have been nerfed A LOT. i mean, A LOT, due to noobs complaining its too hard for an "event" type instance, just because ppl have absolutely no clue how to DPS without AM. so its not like the devs haven't done anything to make it easier.

but with all that said, the feats still need tons of work and time to complete , but im sure there are hundreds other feats to do before u reach the point where the only thing you haven't done is those lpve feats.

i'd say leave em be.

Right, of course there's nothing preventing me from getting the feat other then not wanting to spend 14 years doing it. I have over 500 completed so I've done a fair bit of them but its a boring slog for sure and a completely unreasonable amount of runs to complete. I love the example you gave of exobit farming, another pointless boring slog made even more pointless with recent changes to the game. As someone who has finished farming 25k exobits, I couldn't care less if they lowered the amount of farming required. It doesn't affect me either way, much the same way that lowering these would in no way affect the people who insanely finished the LPVE feats. I don't really care either way, I just don't agree at all that changes shouldn't be made just because some people (I imagine a fairly small number of people) finished the feats.

I'm not comparing LPVE to Exobit farming. If I was, then I'd be the one comparing the time it takes to run LPVE versus the time it takes to farm exobits. You both made that comparison yourselves.

I was simply (and insincerely, because I don't want the feat nerfed) repeating the same argument being made about LPVE feats and applying it to a similar feat, using the same methods being used to justify a nerf to the LPVE feats.

I agree with this comment. When people put in a lot of work to do something they expect others to have to do the same as well. Not everyone has the drive to max out their sp. I play maybe a few hours a day if I'm lucky, I'm sorry I'm not going to sit there and sink all that time into 1000+ LPvE runs. If others want to do that then more power to them, im not judging, I'm glad for people thay completed the feats, but not everyone is like that and shouldn't be penalized for it. On top of that you got high sp people judging others as being lazy sloths or better then them just cause they're close to maxing out their sp.

On top of that if they do nerf down the feat points, people who already completed it may end up getting more SP just like they did with PvP wins a few years back after they nerfed those...
