So there are a lot of villains over at the superman statue. In PVP mode - I know - I found PVP. I talk to them about the state of PVP a little and they seem stand-off-ish. Is this normal? Anyway, does anyone organize any raids against them? they look like they would like that. Or is everyone all in PVE mode and is it only onesie-twosies heroes going over there? In my time over there I have seen a total of 3 heroes, including myself, in a ratio of about 20 villains to 10 villains. 20 villains just a minute ago. USPC
The Superman statue is extremely close to the villian base and is regarded as one of the PvP hotspots. [Alongside the roof of a building near Meta Hospital].
There once was a time when heroes would raid against villains and vice versa, but with open world killed off and PvP being in a generally bad state, it rarely happens anymore. Also, the villains of US PC choose to camp their spawn all day, rather than move to a mutual area between heroes and villains, like the old US PC hangouts. Open world PvP phase on US PC was much more lively when Little Bohemia was the main attraction. Although open world PvP has been dying since around GU 36, I believe that when they removed the option for new players to create a character in the PvP phase, open world PvP was finally killed off.
Robinson Park was the best and worst battleground back in the day. Best because of the action. Worst because of the freezing. Those days are gone my friend. After years of open world server glitch in and freezing it just died. The devs have never really understood pvp and what to give us that we would like. Heck, they stopped trying all together.
Most villains are tired of the state of PvP, mainly the oneshots. We usually stand there to socialize with friends while waiting for content, although some just join the game literally only for socializing with old friends. There are always more villains than heroes, although a lot of the villains that stand there also play on hero side and chill in the same location. Group raids do get made to try to wipe us but its usually a PvE league of Br's that die in oneshot and not really any challenge at all. That was max falling and silver who got the general population to move back to midtown. Thats not true, the liveliest open world has ever been was after the original mega server merge... Midtown was the main attraction, only about a year maybe a little less after mega server merge did people move to little bohemia. It was never as active as the original midtown. When the latest platform merge happens open world should be a lot more active and fun, although i would guess its going to be a gank fest with the current state of pvp... rather than good players dueling and having respect for each other like the original megaserver merge.
