Hiya all. I got all sorts of new, nice, and sparkly attire. I look great, like a super **** swagging through the halls of the watchtower. What's that totting along side me you say?... No, that isn't a flying garbage can... it's my trusty little friend, robot side kick. I admit, despite his great technological advancements, he does look clunky, old, and very outdated. I don't know the feasibility of it, but is there any chance we could get some love for our henchmen, pets, and various other sidekicks? (see what I did there?) They wanna live in a material world just like us, come on Devs? Good day.
I'm with you on that. Some updating to these would be awesome. I've always wanted powerset themed sidekicks, henchmen, orbital, and supply drops too....along with poweraet movement styles I may or may not have mentioned in other threads. Lol.
Lair system sidekicks should have been customizable from day one in my opinion. We should be able to design them just like we do our own characters w/ the styles we own. We should be able to make a "mini me" if we want or something that is a total contrast if we want. At the very least we should be able to coordinate our colors...
So what your saying is you believe the DEVS dance around our toons invisible, dangling expensive digital trinkets?

I've thought lately the easiest route to customize the sidekick trinket would be that it called one of your other account toons with the normal sidekick behavior. That way you would be able to fully customize the look and feel without any need for an extra UI. If that worked out then down the road play around with a generic loadout based on their weapon/power. IMO Backup trinket henchmen should stay themed but we need more of them. Ideally ever DLC should have one you can get from the vendor, ala the Deluge ones. For robot sidekicks and power pets if it could be done without being too convoluted then sure.
Hey, it could be worse, I could have said my robot sidekick looks 'Like a virgin" flying beside me...
