Powerpuff Girls Live-Action Series Cast Announced - IGN The live-action Powerpuff Girls is set years after the events of the children’s cartoon. The three Powerpuff Girls are now “disillusioned twenty-something-year-olds” who resent they lost their childhoods to crime-fighting, and have to learn to work together again in the face of a new threat Uh-huh. There's a part of me that thinks they're going for a Riverdale kind of take on things. There's also a part of me that thinks it could be a total trainwreck. LOL Could be a fun trainwreck, though, who knows?
Curse you weird early morning thoughts, now I'm trying to imagine their take on all the classic villains and other characters in the show under that format. Ms. Bellum alone could be interesting, but I think they'd have to walk a line VERY carefully when it comes to Him. EDIT: Just remembered that they already have one character covered if they choose to use it. For the album The Now Now, the Gorillaz had to "replace" Murdoc in the band because he was in prison. The replacement? Ace from the Gangreen Gang. LOL So somewhere along the line he had a failed stint as a musician. Image is from the Humility video.
