Why does it seem like people who play as flash seem to be hacking they do the same move nonstop its like their going back and forth doing insane damage and im not even exxagerrating i went from full health to none with the power thing this guy was using. Not every player is doing this but people with 2 letters as their name or something i encounter in the instances are doing this
So you are telling me your health went down in a flash? Jokes aside. It should not really be possible for a player to knock down your health from "full to none". Could you describe the power that was being used?
The flash's BB is a teleporter. Most likely, you're running into a lot of Flash users spamming BB's. Although speed hacking with the Flash? That's just too much speed!!
But what idiot is gonna spam the BB in a PvP match and not expect to get lunge. It's BB damage (Both the actual BB and the base damage of the move itself) hits just as hard as the other Legends toons. I see people doing it in LPvE maps, but it goes back to PvP.
I face this in a 2v2 but I could do little against it because I was focusing on the Flash user too much compared to the other playing going ham.
The damage of the Flash's blockbreaker wasn't nerfed in the last GU like other legends' blockbreakers, so right now it actually hits for more than any non-altered weapon blockbreaker. Also, keep in mind that none of the PvP changes that affected LPvP in this last GU affected LPvE.
Well since this seems to be mainly focused around LPvP, you can still counter the BB by lunging. So even if it hits hard you can still counter it. Only a idiot or someone absolutely brand new to PvP will spam a BB and not expect to get lunged. HELL, they teach these basic counter mechanics in the Brainiac Ship Tutorial.
So, lunge the flash, get immunity and then go ham on the other guy, its that simple, both in theory and in practice.
Big difference though is you can still breakout like it's crowd control instead of a hard stun. So I while I want it nerfed like Batman and Robin's BB's, it's not a tragedy that it's happening right now.
I've encountered this myself. An experienced flash user can drop you in seconds while spamming that one move. I wrote it off as some kind of wacky mechanic, but is possible to counter.
This already came up in one of the other threads, my comments on it are here. I'm not sure what the player I ran into was doing exactly, but the incoming damage seemed too fast to just be the basic blocking breaking you can lunge. funny because thats one of the guys doing that but i didnt want to give names due to forum rules but i encountered him bout 5 times he was using flash and ww taking out teams by himself
I'll double check myself if it hits twice, but I know for a fact you can break out of it once block broken, and the user will not get counter immunity from it either. Hence why I'm on the fence about banning him from my tourney.
I've had some issues with this as well. It's like i'm being hit over and over with the same move (whatever puts red electricity on you) and it just destroys my health bar until I lunge him/interrupt
So here are my findings: -BB hits twice inconsistently. If it does, it's damage is either less than 100, or slightly higher than 500. -When countered: The hit iself is less than 40, but the counter damage is over 500, like Batman and Robin's block breakers. -You can spam his bb and lower another flash's health to 40% or less. Idk how that's happening short of it hitting tiwce.
I couldn't edit in time but my conclusion is that he definitely needs a fixing to his BB. His counter damage needs nerfing, and his hold ranged attacked "Hastened whatever" needs to hit only once. And based on what I just did by spamming, he's definitely ban worthy from a tournament until fixed.
The forum rules are about saying nasty things about someone: personal attacks or "openly accusing another player or group of misbehavior". While I'm not a fan of the people who adopt buggy PvP behavior to win matches, I didn't say anyone was misbehaving by doing so. It's PvP; finding the edge cases where you have an advantage over other players is part of the game.
Agreed on all of that. Once we worked out the details I went back with Khons today and have some video of both sides now: both giving out and receiving these hard double hits sometimes. I'll upload mine if there's any issue over reproduction. I used a big font for the combat long to make it easier to read too.
so its a bb not a power well even worse someguy made it seem like a hack i couldnt lunge or anything and he was infront me doing that untill i got koed in a still position
