i forgot to pay my day break so i did once i did pay for it, it said i unlocked "legendary access"? can someone explain to me what the heck i just unlocked LoL
It's the old name for Membership. DCUO was split into 3 access levels: 1) Free to Play: Paid nothing and bought nothing from the game 2) Premium: No Membership but bought at least $5 worth of something from the Marketplace 3) Legendary Access: Bought Membership for 1/3/9/12 months, along with all the perks
Well that's weird because my premium access just expired on the 17th of this month and I forgot to pay for it until I got off of work this morning and paid for it and then it said I had the legendary access I've been paying for the premium for a while not automatically but every time I notice it expires I pay for it so I was kind of confused on this legendary access
Very confusing because I been brought membership for a while now and also brought items in game, I'm positive if I look at my transaction list / history I brought around 100 - 110$ or possibly more items. So I'm confused on how I got legendary access if I been buying premium membership and items from the store
No, there is no such thing as Premium Membership. You only get access to a few perks for good when you send 5$ including unlimited cash and chat. Membership has always been membership and Legendary was the name for it. You don't lose premium benefits.
Legendary status is from purchasing a membership only, when your membership lapses your account is dropped down to Premium status and you lose those Legendary perks until you purchase membership again. Like Talks2MuchSense said you can also obtain Premium status from purchasing at least $5 worth of items from the marketplace.
Okay maybe I'm confused because I spend 14.99 each month for premium free stuff and free perks so I'm confused on what y'all mean that once I spend 5$ that's premium? Because I spend 14$ on monthly premium plus items in the shop
You spend $14.99 each month on Legendary perks, the Premium perks are something separate that you permanently obtained after one purchase.
To be specific you are paying $14.99 a month to access: Marketplace Powers Shield Weapon Skimming Movement 150 Replay Badges monthly 500 DB Cash/Loyalty Points monthly 16 Character Slots 77 Inventory Slots 56 Bank Slots 16 Shared Bank Slots 20 Broker Slots Trade Cash Custom Voice Chat Channels Unlimited Text Chat Can form a League 1 free Item Restore per month 3x bonus daily login rewards 50% bonus on Artifact and Ally XP 10% Marketplace Discount
No problem, I didn't really explain it succinctly so it's probably my fault for the confusion. See how I detailed 3 different access levels in DCUO in my last post? Free to Play, Premium, and Legendary? Only ONE of them requires you to pay something monthly, which is Legendary. To clarify: - Free To Play: You haven't paid any real money for anything ever. Thus you would not be paying a Monthly Subscription. - Premium: You become known as a "Premium Player" once you spend $5 in the game. But that's not $5 every month, that's $5 altogether. This access level, like Free to Play, has no Monthly Subscription. - Legendary: The one and only Subscription. This is what you just paid $14.99 for. What happened with your DCUO account is that you were Legendary, then you missed a month so you were reduced to Premium (because you already paid $14.99 to be Legendary before, meaning you qualified as paying over $5), and now that you paid $14.99 again, you've gone back from Premium to Legendary. Basically, you'll never go back to being Free to Play, you'll always either be Legendary if you pay the $14.99, or if you miss it sometimes you'll revert back to Premium until you pay $14.99 again. Hope that helps.
If you don't have auto-renew enabled for the Legendary Membership, you will be automatically dropped to Premium Membership until you pay to have the Legendary Membership again. You are not charged for the Premium Membership because you have previously purchased the Legendary Membership and/or made a one-time $5 or more purchase(s) from the Marketplace. The Premium Membership got an upgrade over a year ago (like unlimited access to cash, for example), so it may seem like you have paid for the Premium Membership level for those upgrades.
Thank You Thank You to each and everyone that replied back to this thread helping me to solve my confusion on how the DCUO system operates.
