LaunchPad was unable to connect ...

    Obviously it is not on my end since I am posting here from the same system. Are Daybreak Games servers having some issues this morning?

    Authentication server must be shorting itself (i'd prefer a different word, but vulgarities are frowned upon).

    Launchpad won't find the servers and I had to switch browsers a few times to be able to log in as Captcha wouldn't validate. I don't doubt there's a high volume, chances are few people can even log in to complain.
    Did Daybreak fire the server admins? Things have been awfully screwy lately.
