kicking option - change it - allow option to ignore players that voted to kick

I mean other than my encounters with lassoing dps I've heard others mention dps who have used lassos constantly. My hope it's the same guy using various alts but oh boy what if there's more than a few players who do that? God what a horrible thought.

In the first 2 stages of Necropolis are mostly a duo, so you can play however you want to, but when it comes to everyone coming together to fight Faust, things will get messy if you're not performing the role like you should, and I'm not talking about being OP. I'm talking about not messing up the game. Do you know soccer? Imagine if strikers/fowards were always in their goalkeeper's area: chaos. Not to mention the fact that some bosses have very negative reaction to the lasso.

You need to understand: you won't have the same loadout for solos/duos for alerts and raids, and that includes artifacts. Usually, 2 tanks and 1 healer can finish anything by themselves, but it would take an eternity - dps and trolls are here to speed up the process. If you're playing as damage and want to do stuff that's not your job - aka restraining adds - you need to talk about it first, or form a group that accepts your style. I advise you to get a fourth artifact fitting for the damage role and swap the lasso for it during the cutscene - Candle, La Mort, Omega, whatever makes sense to you. Now, if you'd rather insist on overstepping people's boundaries and playing like a noobie, then you better quit.

I stopped reading at reaching this point in the op post. unless you are in a pre-made group and everyone is fine with you being a pseudo-tank, then by all means. otherwise, a non-tank using lasso is a very incompetent art to even have equipped.

You're building a battle healer. I used to do that with my Electric toon, before I had a second armory so I could switch to straight-up heals. It works well enough in most content, at least on regular, and for open world bounties. I don't think I'd do it for elite, or for content where the players are taking a lot of damage and need a real healer.

SILENCE. The Owlman says there is something wrong with the kicking system. The should be more options to kick players that do not do the mechanics, follow the rules or just plain out stink. Not all players are created equal.

Never depend on a troll to give power 80% are buff trolls with nothing in vit and little sp the rest are really bad trolls with no recharge on the loadout or they only hit it 1 time every 60s. Always blue power mods in gen and atleast oracle bot ready to swap if power becomes a issue. I don't have a problem now because I pair ebon and omega

I, too, like using the lasso as DPS on my WW centric alt. However, I switch it out when in group content. That's just good manners.

Also, I've always found this community to be particularly toxic. That being said, in my decade of playing this game, I've not seen kicking players to be abused very much at all. In fact, I realize now that when I first started playing I sucked SO BAD, but the saints I queued with apparently took pity on me.

I was the same when I started playing... one of my first characters was a Superman clone. I used mainly flight movement mode powers, Heat Vision/Freezing Breath, and had no ****ing clue how bad it was. It was fine in duos/alerts, but I remember being carried in Khandaq several times wondering why my damage output was so low.

We had to glitch the door open on the final boss to get through it on most occasions... Back when this was "hard" content and gear drops weren't guaranteed. Good times.

OMG that was a lifetime ago. You could do an entire raid and not get a single piece of gear. Or get out bid on the one thing you needed.

Couple of days ago, there was a tugging match with some goof with lasso pulling back adds back in the street with the convoy and a rage player trying pull adds into the molton pit. Not sure if its the OP on main or alts, but seeing this thread ... i'd bet a dollar to taco it was. Myself and a few players I know left to go to Brim, or Stepp. Rather annoying because it was a low pop phase amongst a couple of other low pop phases.

Ugh...I've been in that same tug of war when on my tank trying to fry the adds. The good news is that if they are in DPS role, just quit pulling and the problem will resolve itself when they get killed.

"Oh...you want all the adds....fine...have them".

If it's 2 tanks in tug of war, I'll eventually win out....Any tank who doesn't yet realize that dropping them in the lava is faster and makes more sense is likely a new tank/player...so likely is all around, weaker.

ha, I still do, my main DPS is using a kryptonian build, specifically, I made a clone Power Girl legend character's moveset. however, DPS isn't my main role. So whenever other told me to switch to DPS from Tank, I always tell them, my DPS build is bad and people are always fine with it, saying it doesn't matter as long as I contribute damage in the raid. player in this game have more patient than player in other MMO.

so if you keep getting kicked from group content, the problem lies with you, not with other player.

Same here. I maintained the "Kryptonian" theme with Earth after that power released. The character was originally Fire, and I hated the power aesthetics at the time, so that was the reason I didn't use the abilities. The game was also a bit misleading when it came out. There was a glitch with the Flight/Brawling combo, your weapon attacks would deal insane damage... I thought my character was just that bad ***. This got corrected early on, but I never knew why until a year or so later.

Earth came out, and the switch was obviously necessary. Now it's effective and fits the character theme. Win/win.

Tank players are not annoyed by being out pulled by you, as you say, they're annoyed that you're making their job more difficult. Lasso is an art that will be required in certain content or under circunstances. Cuz I've been un that situation, I'll ask nicely for that player to stop doing that and if the player insists in continuing doing so I'll ask for kicking said player.
