Just a quick "thanks!" devs, for fixing the "stuck in combat during alert" issue. Credit is owed when/where it owed, considering how much barking we've done about other issues. Little things, make a difference, it doesn't go without notice. Bigg'ns open our wallets lol.-(eyeballing that lag)
I haven't run the alert in a few days (not for this reason, but just not having the time), so I'll take your word for it. Now...can they translate it to the OW?
What flowers? The alert is still unplayable. Great i can switch armories, but i still don't know what’s going on 80% of the bossfights.
The alert makes me queasy due to the frame-rate issues, and I rarely have had motion sickness issues from games. It also gives me a slight headache. I've decided to avoid it until that's fixed.
Honestly, that fix was appreciated as that was one of my biggest pain points of this episode. Although I wish they'd do something about the alert becoming unplayable the moment you start the second boss. If it can be confirmed that those orbital beams are what's causing the huge frame rate / lag issue, they should just be removed immediately until they can be fixed.
Are they owed a thank you if we aren’t owed an apology ? (I’m not talking about a gift or anything) just a formal written, “hey guys we know the last few weeks have been rough we are really sorry and are working on doing a better job. I know the usual suspects will come here and try to undermine what I’m saying and it’s fine they are fine with being treated like trash there cool. But customer server goes a long way … we are the customers not the other way around and they should be lucky we are still even playing the game .. an apology goes a long way is all I’m saying.
I'm actually thinking the most annoying thing we are dealing with today is now the chat issues. Last night I was in a group of 5 people and every time someone switched a toon, it was 10 min of 'can you hear me' going around the group as people switched in and out to try and fix this annoying issue. Lag is no picnic either, but at least when you are just sitting in queue, building a group or just chewing the fat, lag isn't that big an issue. Heck lets face it, save the alert last boss or Elite, the lag doesn't really make a difference either. I've tanked or healed through 30 second lag spikes in the last few days....just pop a few extra powers as you hang in mid air....they will all land eventually.
An apology would be a great start! I wouldn't say no to a decent apologetic gift though since you mentioned. Something that says, "I survived the PS5 client/Dev team restructure of 2024 Wolf pack token." This right here! These chat issues are really Pi----... making me angry.
My sincerest salute to anyone managing to suffer through all this in the elite version. Regular is enough of a pain in the rear, spam and pray sometimes just to make it through...on my main.
Elite for a tank isn't that bad. I've found that I could actually "turtle tank" the last bosses of the Elite alert, and stay in the back left corner of the room (near the door you use to exit the instance). They all lunge so much that they constantly get countered and fall on their butts. So you generally just gotta rotate a few strong shields and have a decent healer in the group. You also won't be crowd controlled by the bosses as much when you block it out. In that aspect, it does remind me of the good old days.....
