When I logged in today, I went to Chaos Gotham then I noticed I had a timer which I haven't had in a awhile , there is a 10 minute timer now even to go back to my base? Did something happen since yesterday it was working fine no cooldowns on warping at all till today. Everywhere I warp on the Warp Menu now has a cool down time.
Those look like the old cool down value times. I know when I log out sometimes I get the old countdown and sometimes I don't. Maybe it's something along those lines.
Hmm... It seems that the warp cooldown timers have been put back into the game. I do not know why it was put back; it made travelling from base to base so much easier. They do cause an issue if you have more than one base: if the timer is on the first base you cannot enter your other bases through the warp menu because the base on cooldown blocks access to the others. You have to physically travel to your other bases if you want to enter them. With the warp cooldown times back in place, the warp menu is quite useless now, in my opinion.
This was one of the features I really like/liked. I hope this is a fluke and that it didn't get reverted back. Will be a very big disappointment.
I don't think it was active this weekend as I was warping all over the place. I wonder if turning off the lpve weekend reverted it back to the old set up. Would be nice if we get a reply from one of the devs on this.
I am very sad to see the timers returned. I thought they got rid of the timers as part of their QoL (Quality of Life) enhancements. The timers should really be removed since they made travelling a much better experience overall.
