Im talking about that level of being bored, like boredom of you go into extreme low level stuff just to play it. heck i just did a pug for UM because the only thing i need is people to listen and i can run them through it. dont get me wrong my sp for pc is only 120 but to me that fine as i still come in first or second on the board and no one bothers me about it. ...../shrug maybe i should join a league now.... eh... so anyone else at at that level?
Repeating essentially the same crap over and over and over while that crap not even being challenging does have that effect on thinking human life. Either wait for SP having more impact again, forcing you to deal with crap you may have simply ignored by now to get your SP up or find fun in other content than running stuff (like optimizing the style of your character which is dealing with the crappy artwork and clipping issues a lot; decorating your base etc.) or leave to new shores (aka a different game). Especially theme park MMOs with "content is guaranteed the same every time!"-approach have high fluctuations in their player base. This is not a race car sim where being able to run a track exactly the same lap by lap is the goal and clocking three laps in a row with the time of each lap not differing more than a tenth of a second takes a lot of practice and is challenging; this is a themepark where "exactly the same" is the premise and hindering you from trying different things.
I was going to come in here and tell you that it's frowned upon to revive old threads that are more than a year old, and then I realized you're just getting to the point I was at back then and created a new one. So in short.... yes.
not sure they can even fix the game anymore. no one can do crap on this game. cr180ish cant beat dwf, kct, bbs, ect. they made it a no skill needed game. now people are saying...im bored. and they should be saying that!!! its just to easy. and little to do.
I can totally get why vets would feel this way, as AF3 dailies are pretty fast/easy. From my perspective though I'm pretty busy. This is my first proper year running the Christmas seasonal, so I'm trying to run 7 toons through the seasonal daily to get the feats done, preferably before the anniversary event drops. It's all a matter of perspective. But yeah, it seems the longer you've played the game, the less there is to do
I started playing in 2011 but I reached what you're talking about about a year ago. I haven't paid a sub to dcuo since. If they ever give back the grind of a mmo and lose the replay badges for good i might come back. If not who cares I'm enjoying the great new stuff ff14 has brought out this passed year and with a new expansion coming next spring I may not even come back if they do.
