When Neron introduces Hatred and Rage.... When Neron says "Hatred", the larger, blobby demon says something, with the implication that he is Hatred. When Neon says "Rage", the skinnier, spikey, demon say "Rage is eternal!"... signifying that he is Rage. BUT: When you fight them, and they are officially named: The spikey demon is Hatred and the blobby one is Rage. Did I see that right? Is there a mix up??
I thought they were Selfishness and Hatred. I don't remember Rage being in there. You're referring to the two demons in the Neron's Underworld raid, right?
It could also be a commentary on the thin line between rage and hatred, an examination of the human condition. Where does hatred end and rage begin? Where does rage start? Does one lead to the other? Are they speaking because THEY are being mentioned, or are they merely feeding into the hype for each other? Is it just semantics? These are questions philosophers and researchers of various fields have studied and pondered for centuries, so now the devs have decided to allow US to ponder the similarities and differences between the two ideas. It isn't a bug, it's a very deep discussion starter. I call them both Larry.
Yup... They are. Whicjh still seems kinda odd. So at the 1:50 mark, Neron says "Feel the full power of my Hatred" and Selfishness answers him... and then Hatred says "Rage burns eternal" I was playing at 4 am... I not-fully-awakily assumed when the fat one immediately answered right after Neron saying something about hatred that HE was hatred... and I assumed that the one that spoke about rage wasn't.
