Can we get interactive furniture. It would be neat to be able to lay in a bed, sit on a couch, sit in the tub, and etc. I would make the world feel more alive. Seeing leagues sitting at league meetings inside league halls, instead of just standing around..
Would love to be able to sit in the Mobius chair. Or better yet... sit in it an fly around in the Open World.
Ha. Agreed. I hope they do give us interactive furniture. It baffles me we have gone this many years..beat up every big bad in dc comics..but can't sit in a chair.
They seem to be trying to do that. In the past year or so we have gotten many more interactive and or animated base items than ever before. There are unfortunately some pretty massive difficulties to overcome when it comes to the type of interaction you are looking for however. Since players and gear are all different shapes and sizes and the stuff we want to interact with remains the same shape and size, clipping would be a huge issue. And thats just one example. Dont get me wrong....I would LOVE to be able to do what you are asking for and support this request 100%. Im just saying that if it ever does happen, dont expect it to be without flaws.
I lend my support to this thread. This is something we, the loyal players of the DCUO Multiverse, have asked for before and I am confused why it has not been done. Give us bed that you can click on and it animates you so you crawl into the bed and doze off. YES I know we have a /sleep emote but how often at home to you JUMP ONTO YOUR BED< STAND THERE A FEW SECONDS (while typing in /sleep) AND THEN LAY DOWN FOR A NAP? I have a bunch of chairs scattered all over my lair.. let me click on them and actually sit down I have an Irish Pub in several lairs and I wonder why I can not walk up and click the bar and grab a drink and down it.. Hey I paid out good money to build that thing I must want to use it? Right? I mean we don't need to come up with animations for everything.. Hey I have a few bases with an IRON MAIDEN on display. Trust me I have no desire to step inside that thing! LOL But I also have a dart board in a number of lairs... Cant they come up with some way where once placed on a wall.. a circle appears on the floor X number of feet away and if you click on that circle. You throw darts at the dart board??? OH yeah .. I have the marble counter top that basically gives you a small kitchen with a sink and a stove. Why can't I click on that and cook up some burgers? I KNOW I KNOW... it would take too much time and effort and what does it do to improve the game? We have a ton of bugs and glitches they need to fix. That is true but honestly if the same glitch has been around and been reported hundred of times and still exists chances are they have no way to figure out why it is happening or how to stop it. I know there are players that rarely even visit that lair they own but there are also players like me. Once I have all the daily outdoor stuff completed.. I head back to MY LAIR where I have easy access to My soda machine, MY r+d vendor and crafting table, MY broker, and MY bank. I Que up and start running duos, alerts and raids... And in between those I do what I need with the stuff i got and then.. Stand around staring at all that furniture I have all around the place and can not do a thing with except look it it. So why not let me drink a beer at my bar, or play darts or whatever while i am waiting for that next assignment.?
