I'm curious to see what all of you think, what was the best gameplay addition the devs have brought to DC Universe Online since launch? The R&D? The marks revamp? Maybe the solo loot? Voice your opinions! Everybody is so focused on what the devs do wrong, let's take a moment to talk about what they've done right! Imo, the greatest addition they've made to this game is a tie between the introduction of player bases, and when the mega servers were created (But Still Long Live BWR)
Solo loot was definitely one of the greatest but I think armouries take the biscuit. It was an absolute nightmare to play both roles before armouries. So much hassle. It wasn't worth doing. The day we got armouries, it was like we'd been given a new game to play. So on that basis, Armouries.
Hmmm... Armories or Personal Loot... Tuff choice. On one hand, I've pretty much never never pugged. So the Loot Ninja thing was not a big deal for me. On the other hand, I only play one role, so Armories weren't as big a deal either. I'll go with Armories. I can change into 4 different outfits at any given time
Hmmmm.... both choosing your loot and armories come to mind. But I gotta say, having my base teleporter was a game changer for me. I don't know if it was in the game from the srart. But if not, I'd go with that.
4.5 years in and these are the only GU features that mattered to me in a big way. It is most favorite first. Other changes occurred that were housekeeping that I'm glad happened but don't value like I do these. Combat Parser Armories Armory Imprint Improvements Solo Loot Loot Choice Teleporters Total Recovery Kits Stop HoT/DoT Overwrite Mega servers LFG Scrimmage
When they made Fire matter again. hehe But I would really say that armory was the best update. Being able to change outfits is essential to a RPer.
Even though I barely get to play my electric guy, changing tesla ball from the time bomb animation to it's current look was f'n awesome. Connecting the teleporters is great also!!
I'll go with the solo loot but just because it stopped people from constantly misusing "ninja looter".
