My pre-PC/PS server merge activity is a black hole of bleh. Since the merge I have been enjoying the game more and more. Even getting more interaction on the forums as well since then.

I will say though I was in the watchtower one night (rare since I am always on villain side doing something) when Mepps was spawning Brainiac Avatars....flew around a corner..."Oh $***!" Avatar of Tech right on top of me. I was squished right after "Oh".
Those were fun nights, I miss those.

Still waiting on you to make that villain toon and come play with us, GP! I already talked some of the other guys in our group into it!
Our test group is as much family as my live server family! Even tho I'm older than some of them, you're all like big brothers I never wanted! jk jk jk <3

It's been soooo long since the last boss spawn on the villain side...I'm dying for another one to happen!

I want an army of gentleman ghosts teleporting around sniping people throughout the hubs and all noise drowned out by synchronized shouts of "Bloody hell"

Have been in some great leagues thru my almost 7 year run here. I didn't play this with any real life friends, and my server, The Killing Joke, was a little tough on brand new players. I meet my first friend on here, crossbolt, right after the hack attack. We were a heal/troll combo and had no problem finding groups after that. We joined up with my first league X Force. My stay there was ok, but what I got out of it was awesome. A few others that didn't like the direction or the league decided to do our own thing and formed our own league, The Clique. This was my league for quite some time. We had a strong 8 man group that could do all content easily, and started getting out feet wet in PvP. Soon people found other games to play and we found more friends to merge with. I must point out also, the only league I was in that had a leader, X Force, and it did not work. Since then, my leagues have always had or been councils, and work must better. Anyway, my next league was Pug Group. We were very strong PvP and PvE. Had a lot of members at one time. Again, people found other interests and moved on. We eventually merged with Inner Circle and have been here ever since. Our numbers are down to just a few of us, but those few have been playing together now for 6 years.

This post and all the others is the ones people need to think of when the game gets in a crappy state to remember why you (generally speaking) actually play. A lot of my friends have left the game as well, but the ones that are still here are the best part of playing despite the problems around us. I keep in touch with the friends who left even if it's just a quick hey hope you're well. Sounds like you have a great family too! Even thought numbers are down, keep in mind it won't last forever and grab some fresh meat to teach your ways to!

I have a lot of people in mind who I can call friends. I have even went to some and told them that I take them as real life friends, which is a very big thing for me if you ask me, because it was amazing to get to the point where a real life friend, would be just a "friend", while the people who I met in this game I could rely on in so many occasions - I cried on their shoulder, I laughed with them or at them (that's what friends are for xD), I shared my thoughts, my worries, my happy moments and so on.

Honestly, if I never started playing this game, I would have never met all the amazing people who made me a better person, to myself and the people who surround me. They helped me see the world from a different point of view, they helped me understand what's wrong or right, they helped me mature, and that's amazing in my opinion - My parents couldn't help me as much as all those people that I met in this game did!

Oh, memories. So many beautiful memories that make me smile every single day. It's funny how one small thing can change your whole world, and it did. Oh my, it did so bad! xD I've met with half of those people, I currently am and was in a relationship/s with people from my or a different country and I had the chance to meet them and spend time with them! How amazing is that? It's ******* great and this is why I love DCUO so much ! Nobody will ever take away the things that happened to me ! The love, the appreciation, the acceptance that I met in people, the great memories and friendships that I've built with them.

I know I might have gone out of topic a bit, but that's because the league I've been since forever isn't the same it was before and all that's keeping me stay there is the work that all my friends have gone through, (those who left long time ago) to build up this league and the memory of them is keeping me going !

The Observers is the league I'm talking about. A league that changed my life so, so much, Gosh, it's just so weird to even think about it, because it really did and it's such a big deal for me. At times I felt so lost and all those people who are or aren't playing anymore made me who I am today, they helped me build up ! And I'm so, so grateful I'm still talking to them, on daily basis, I just can't be grateful enough, because they made me truly happy in life !

I can say confidently that they are not only my friends, but my family as well. I love you guys and girls, thanks for being part of my life !

Best fun I remember was the last time the Sub Avatars glitched and were re-spawning like crazy... we must have had like 20+ leaguers online.. we made like 3 groups and went crazy getting everyone the astral alloy feat - so much fun

Oh gosh Kari lol. I didn't realize you blamed us for so much! I have endless memories with you lol. I will spare the forum folks of the stories we could tell on each other LOL! Your post meant a lot to me. It definitely makes the memories come flooding in! Such a sweet and heart felt post. I know you have impacted just as many people as what have impacted you. The countless SM's, raids, feat runs, etc. that we've all had together were such a great time! Memories I will always hold near and dear to my heart!

One memory that will always be one of my favorites is when we first met, how we met, and who we talked about LOL. Then it took us 30+ minutes to add each other on Viber because neither one of us knew what we were doing lol. Love ya Kari <3

Been solo since forever. The forums are closest thing I have to a DCUO family.

I've been solo forever too. I'm in a league now but I have 2 solo league halls with at least 75k prestige.

Alas the last 3 Leagues I have been in have slowly died a death, to the point I am the only 1 logging in semi regular. Latest I keep in touch with through Discord/Party chat. They have mostly left for FF14 (which I dabble in) but I think 1 or 2 will be back when the new content drops in September. I have always been loathed to leave Leagues as I like to think of myself as loyal, & particularly as the current 1 was/is a mix of Scots & New Zealanders so we have a similar outlook (small country next to fairly significant neighbours). Ultimately I would probably join a new League but I don't want to be switching between Discord/Party Chat & League chat.

The last couple of players left because of the revamp. They had more SP than me (I have 269) but they just didn't feel it. On balance I preferred life pre revamp but I don't dislike it enough to be quitting anytime soon...my first ever mmo, too much money spent to cast aside, etc
