Well, that was my last game on DCUO i've been here for like a year now, it's so depressing what they did to the game..
Since update 26 all i can see it's my character dying controlled.
I'm leaving 'cause i've played countless hours, 3 characters (Sabrina Spellman, Cr 52 PVP Cr 83 Sorcery dps, Mint adnade Cr 45 PVP CR 84 Nature Healer and Electra Thunder Cr 41 PVP Cr 82 Electric Healer )
I've spent time, money, and i've wanted to be strong! But it seems that just can't be done.
Now update 28 ruined the game, i was already weak enough against controllers, and now, even a Cr 77 beat me, it's okay..you may say "You are the worst player in the whole world" But..seriously i'm powerless..actually my healer, PVP Cr 84..was defeated against every role in the game. And it's feels like the only players that can actually be strong are the DPS and the Controllers, and it's just unfair.
It's a great game, and i will back someday (Shut up! I know no one cares ¬¬)
Well, sorry for the english and see you around (?)

Aw it's alright. It takes time to have skill. Not everyone automatically gets accustom to the game. I hope you come back !

am kindove in the same boat as you buddie. IMO PVP is my end game content. whats the point of being a tank now in a 1v1? my whole goal was to make a unstopible tank. to be that one tank that you cannot move off of the node. its the one main reason why I completed so many feats. in one foul swoop UD28 destroyed my end game content. what is my reason to play now? my endgame content is decimated. :(

Having played each of the roles, I will say that I feel tanks get the worst end of the shaft (trollers have too many options to circumvent tank bonuses), and healers are not far above tanks. The only consolation prize that healers get is the slight feeling of satisfaction of winning when facing a tank powerset, and even then it can often be denied if the tank decides to quit before you can whittle them down. The feeling of sheer power when playing a troller powerset is worlds above and beyond the other two, there's just no comparison.

That being said, you *should* be able to quash a tank powerset at the very least. It may not be guaranteed, but with even a modicum of experience and skill, your records of wins and losses means you should eventually face tanks that you can brute force down through healer bonuses and debuffs. I am not sure how to help you better though without seeing what you're doing.

I hope you reconsider and give it another go sometime, maybe ask around for a PVP partner to try things out with on the LFG channel?

You're not even above 90 cr on a character, and leaving.
Most "I'm leaving posts" are laughed at, but this one truly is laughable.

Skill takes time....and how many skill points are you rocking on those characters? If you don't have enough to spec into your role...than yeah people with lower cr and higher skill points and talent, will most likely tear you up. Its called practice practice practice...not everyone picks up on things the same way or with the same speed.

The update is good and you are not a bad player. You just haven't utilized the new updates changes.

There two kinds of players, the ones who figure things out, and the ones who wait for others to figure things out for them. Both kinds of players can be great players, even the best players. However, you aren't someone who can figure things out, so just wait and learn from those who have.

I will be making a thread in the pvp section sometime today if you are still around. It should help give you some insight on details of the games changes.

I dont understand posts like these.

    If your leaving leave.

If your intent was to build such a great tank then why are you thretening to leave?

Either way you are confusing, it takes a whole lot of time to build a great character, this isnt Mc DCUO where you order and get a great toon immediately. I suggest you focus on a single toon. Yes it's fun to have multiples and options, but the grind on skill points, gear, and mods on multiple toons, keeps many from having a great toon... just think where you would be if you had spent all your time you've played on your tank only... How many skill points could you have, your mods could be better, your gear could be top notch, etc...

You know I been here since beta. Back in the day anybody could take anyone down if they knew what they were doing. Then debuffs, trinkets, pets, and you know name it. Has made pvp a joke. I mean pure pvp is skill not having ten thousand shields so you can block ppl to death like tank have been doing. I mean I remember before the update you didn't take on a tank unless you were a healer. There should be a class above everyone else. So if your getting beat just flip your role to dps in pvp and use the golden rule. Last time I check dps is still a role and needs a little love just like your support roles. So has stated above skill points, skill points, and just skill.

Cool. If you're on USPC, can I have your stuff?

Why do you come into almost every post and troll people? Instead of harassing people, maybe you should take a long look at yourself and question whether or not you should even be playing these types of games. Why don't you just give him some input instead of making a rude joke? Stay out of threads like this if you do not have anything decent to say. Reported for trolling.

Sigh .....moans about the game and maximum CR is less then 60 LMAO, of course your going to get beasted with barely enough skill points to spec two weapons trees.
  15. SuperMia New Player

Awww it's ok, it's always going to be tough to be the sole healer being focus-fired..

But everyone needs a break once in a while, hope to see you back one day! XD

Find a friend, make them be a tank and teach them how to cleanse. Your welcome.

Otherwise you haven't been pvping long enough to learn to ride a debuff. I mean countless hours in and you have your highest toon at pve cr 52...forget that your pvp highest tier is cr 84. Is that like 1 week solid gaming here ? cos that's possible in little more then 2 hours a night for a week.

WIthout skill points and knowledge on how to play your toon you are always going to fail as the focus fire target in pvp.
  17. GeoShock New Player

Your mistake might be playing 3 toons instead of concentrating on one. Focus on one and grind SP, you CR is not that important. You will be very surprised at the difference SP makes. After I got all the SP I needed for my role I started adding SP into health, defence/toughness, I could already feel the difference after 10-15 'extra' SP.

Also mod your pvp gear, even with simpliest alpha plans just for affinities. Use Home Turf white mods, they help much. Remember about you PvP trinket.

Pick one wepon, learn the combos, learn to clip them. Pay attention to what your enemy does, blocking and block breaking at the right time takes practice too.

So don't give up, use the advice you were given in this topic and good luck ;)
