Wondering if anyone tested Ice Snow Devil dmg with Source Shard. Prec or Might. Just curious as to the numbers. Is it worth leveling? I'm currently ice prec and have been slowly leveling SS to swap out with grim in certain situations. Let me know
Guessing no one’s replying because no one’s done it. Snow devils don’t do much damage and they would count as 2 pets so you’d lose out on another pet getting a buff possibly. If wanting to run source and planning to get it to higher levels, I’d keep grim and just level source up separately. You can do the usual pet build of source/ grim/ quislet and use robot side kick instead. Not needing to set your own pi would probably work really well for ice since the only powers that set it aren’t ideal in all situations. The supercharge generator is nice for AoE since it doesn’t split but the range is meh and not great for st/ boss fights. So another choice is the AoE field and that’s also meh. Frost breath is only other choice and it is strong but it’s slow and you have to cancel out of it. Good for boss fights/ st tho for the other options. But if grim is setting it up, you open up a few more possibilities that could work well. Pretty much any power can do really well with a pet build but I’ve found that if using source, you have to use grim and quislet and a 3rd power at pet. You could ditch one of the artifact pets and run sidekick/ trinket pet for an almost constant 3rd pet. Trinket then sidekick then trinket is off cd.
They should really just give Ice some love with Snow Devil and make it a permanent pet with some cool perks. I sincerely doubt that using it in a pet build as it is would be even remotely effective.
