I reckon Ice will be next up in GU41. It has went Earth, Electricity, Fire, Gadgets, alphabetically Ice would be next

Nature and Sorcery because they did Mental and Gadgets, Fire and Ice, only powers left were those two, but they weren't as broken as Mental, Gadgets, Fire and Ice before the revamp, Fire is debatable, but the only powers to "Revamp" were those two, but instead they fixed the bugs and added a mechanic to each power, whih then lead to them realizing every power needs a Mechanic. So yes after Nat and Sorc, it seems they're doing it in alphabetical, but it's only coincidental as Earth, Electricity and Fire(much later down the road) were the most broken powers.
As much as ice does, when it comes to dps. The same argument you used for Ice can be used for those two, and since all 3 are in line for a AM, who is more deserving ? My opinion ? All of then, and they will have come.
Mental doesn't even have a multi target PI application power that is WM compatible anymore. Terror tendrils and mass terror were all we had. Mental needs a revamp really bad at the moment.
Really? What nerf is that? If you are ice and have complaints, then you should doubt your ability as a player and not the powerset.
Ice's main multi target PI (besides Res Gale's ice field which does single or double digits for me on groups, so i don't use), Wintry Tempest, is not WM compatible unless you are standing right next to the enemies, which in t6 is not that great. The powerset will lose its unique mechanic, ice Armor, after gu40. Do you expect Ice players to just accept that every power will get a better version of ice's mechanic? Ice will become a pew pew pew power and you will not have 6 useful (efficient) non-Iconic powers to put on the loadout, at least until the AM hits. I do not doubt my ability as a player at all. After gu40 no ability will needed if i don't have to think or keep track of anything.
All the ice armor did for dps's was give u a constant 50pct multiplier after u hit 5 chill effects,so if max dmg is giving u 60,whats the problem?Its not like with frostbite where u hv to apply the pi,then you hv another power that does additional dmg when the pi is out,its only good for the ice armor,which,like i said,is 10pct weaker than max dmg anyway.Plus,you still hv frostbite.Oh no,u hv only 1pi like almost every other power!
Chill Effects increased the base power of a few moves that are Ice's only (imo) useful DPS moves. Resonating Gale is what you seem to be talking about, it hits for less than Boulder, even with the extra PI damage. Boulder only hits hard because of stacked Chill Effects. When you are using the Max Dmg mod you cannot stack Chill Effects, that was ice's Main PI and Main Mechanic. NO other power has to lose their mechanic to use Max Dmg mod. 60% dmg modifier, which every other power will be able to use without losing their mechanic > 50% dmg modifier/ice armor which ice has to get in order to hit hard
I personally love the fact that I no longer have to have those annoying ice spikes sticking out of my body in either tank or dps mode and can use any of my ice powers at 10% tank 60% dps. Also as I understand it, you still get the chill effects PI, you just lose the annoying ice armor after 5 effects which is a big win from my point of view. (50% vs 60% hmmm, I think I'll take 60!)
If you want to maximize your damage as dps, you are going to use IB which is going to lead you to IA anyway, as ice tank to not get IA you have to ignore reflect which is the O S... shield due absorb 10k damage .
