    My Ice DPS loadout is Bitter Winds, Arctic Gust, Wintry Tempest, Ice Bash, Resonating Gale, and Frost Blast. Is there anything I need to change or takeout and what rotation should I use. THNX:☺

    Cold Snap is the only Ice power that activates the Power Regeneration mechanic.
    Cold Snap is also one of 3 powers that grants Chill Effects. 5 Chill Effects activates Ice Armor.
    4 Chill Effects, Ice Armor or an Icy Field set up Arctic Gust and Avalanche for additional damage.
    Ice Bash, Arctic Gust, Avalanche, Wintry Tempest and Bitter Winds will regenerate power if cast while Cold Snap is active. Ice Bash, Arctic Gust and Avalanche also refresh the Cold Snap power regeneration mechanic.
    So at a minimum, you need Cold Snap in your loadout.

    Suggested loadout:
    • Cold Snap
    • Ice Bash
    • Arctic Gust
    • Avalanche
    • Wintry Tempest
    Sample Rotation until you have Ice Armor:
    • Cold Snap > Ice Bash > Arctic Gust > Cold Snap > Ice Bash > Arctic Gust > Cold Snap
    Sample Rotations once you have Ice Armor:
    • Cold Snap > Ice Bash > Arctic Gust > Arctic Gust > Arctic Gust
    • Cold Snap > Ice Bash > Avalanche > Avalanche > Avalanche
    Arctic Gust & Avalanche have different ranges. I recommend keeping both on you bar for different range opponents.
    If you have a Controller providing Power over Time then throw in Wintry Tempest for additional damage over time.

    So what should I take out?

    I am a cr 125 ice dps and I use the following rotation / loadout which not only gets good damage, but also gives me some survivability and maneuverability:

    cold snap ->
    Ice bash ->
    reflection (grants chill effects and helps with survival) ->
    Wintery Tempest (ranged AOE) ->
    Avalance (3-4x before repeating rotation. does massive damage at range and regenerates power)
    with swoop (flyer) as my optional manuverability booster. (Handy when need to get to a switch or downed player fast).

    Try it out if you like. It's pretty easy to run and easier on the fingers than some other combos I've used.

    Here is what you want:
    Cold snap
    Ice bash
    arctic gust
    wintery tempest
    reflection
    robot sidekick

    The rotation would be wintery tempest-> reflection->cold snap -> ice bash -> arctic gust -> arctic gust -> arctic gust
    and repeat but on the second rotation you will skip reflection since it is not off cooldown

    Heres mine bitter winds cold snap ice bash clip all 3 then wintry tempest spam artic gust avalanche. I go with max damage mod so no ice armor since it takes a while to activate

    Wintry Tempest, Cold Snap, Bitter Winds, Reflection, Ice Bash, Arctic Gust or Avalanche

    Go Avalanche if need to range DPS.

    I believe the standard 4 powers for Ice dps is Wintry Tempest, Cold Snap, Bitter Winds and of course Ice Bash. Then either Arctic Gust or Avalanche depending on range. For the last power, some ppl go Reflection and some ppl go Robot Sidekick.

    In PvP, everyone uses Reflection.

    Wintery Tempest/Cold Snap/Ice Bash. Arctic Gust x4 or Avalanche x4.

    For SM I carry both and Blizzard. In a raid where you can stay close most of the time you can drop Avalanche for Robot Sidekick. Preload your chill effects before entering the instance and there's no reason to run reflect.

    Added survivability and easier pickups.

    For those purposes though, in DPS stance in end-game, reflect is about as useful as a dampening field.
