I'm prepared to put my money where my mouth is and will buy the direct to purchase materials. It is nice to see you introduce some direct market purchases that can be purchased directly in a transparent manner without having to deal with layers of RNG. For that I'd like to thank you and appreciate it. Thumbs up
This seems to be a popular position for you, not sure once is accurate. Regardless, thumbs up from me as well.
I give recognition where recognition is due. I critisize when criticism is due. This is a positive move that many of us have asked for for a long time. Now all players can take advantage of the material system in game which is also a great thing for new players coming in.
Already bought them materials on the MP. Now let's see how many people actually do buy it...... and how many will complain that $20 is "too expensive".
Maybe like one or two people, which is what I saw so far, but that's probably enough for you to go around and say "and yet people still complain about pricing" I'll be waiting, I'm sure it'll come in a future post
Some commented as much in the twitch comment in today's Live Stream with Mepps and SJ. Heck even after the Live Stream was done.... people were sticking around in the chat still complaining about the $20 price tag. Some commented as much in MY Live Stream today. And someone even left a comment in my Gold Silver Bronze video. And I did not even count how many times I saw someone say that $20 was too much on these very Forums. So I would say.... more then just "two people" already. But let's see how many people actually use them materials in game... or in the Costume Contest thread. Will we see as many people use these mats as we see people with the Batman Beyond Style?? or the Speed Metal style?? Guess we will have to wait and see.
Bought everything (except the CR boost. My main is already CR 215. Might use that on my primary villain alt eventually, though, once I get my hands on a few more of the styles I want for her), will probably buy booster packs until I have all the auras and the material, depending on how many that takes, may buy additional for the other supplies. Mepps, give everyone involved in making this happen my thanks, even though connection issues caused me to miss half the livestream
That's not my point, my point is people will complain no matter what. You can't take a small handful of folks that complain and be like "oh! Look! Whining! It was a failure! Don't do it anymore!" If they sell well (which I'm 99.9% sure they will), they'll keep doing it. You and others like to over exaggerate the negativity though.
