I Quit...

As my title says, I quit. I cannot abide this game anymore, before I do, I will tell you why.

The players.

Thats it. I cannot abide them.

For every one decent player I have to suffer 50 indecent players.

For every one nice guy, I have to suffer 50 horrible people.

Its just simply not worth it.

I will quit all MP games, as I feel todays community is just simply horrible. The companies like sony have done fantastic in trying to keep everyone happy, but even they cannot control the community. Today I will end my membership. I have no interest in the lousy people, I have no interest in keeping the community toxic. I will end my part in creating new monsters.

You listen to chat?

You could alway keep amoungst yourself with individuals you trust. If i can remember its called a league.

If you are for real leaving then I suppose you will have no further need for your in game cash or exobits/bytes. Please send them via in game mail to "Hytch"

P.S. I'll also accept any rare tradeable styles you have saved in your bank. You can send them to the same name I listed above.

Can I have your stuff?

I think at some point, most people who have PUGed or generally played MMOs have reached that low point where you look at the community and all you can see are the negative experiences, the frustrations and how much of a jerk people can be - and that is all true.

But what you need at that point is to be able to connect with the nice people that are around, be reminded of the times when it wasn't all stress stress drama stress and you actually had fun interactions with people and enjoyed playing with other people.

I always figure that whilst the jerks in games spread their misery - that frustrating moment they caused may well cause someone else to be mean further down the line, at the same time if you can help out and do nice things, that too creates a ripple effect. Like others have said, finding like minded people to play with can be your salvation when you really just don't want to have to deal with downsides for a bit and then you can at least relax and go have some fun - which after all is what we're all here for, at least in principle.

The players are crap for the most part. Queued into Outer Raid just now, had some dummy tell everyone to hold up so he could inspect.... man... luckily he almost got laughed out of the raid.

To sound like an jerk. but what I learned and I think the devs can agree with me on this: if you want to be part of the DCUO community = get some tough skin. - only way to survive tbh.
