I got scammed, off my bits and some of my mats, what can I do to get them back? I also took a screenshot of the chat conversation in the game.

If you had a text conversation you can submit a ticket and you should get your stuff back. If it was largely mic based you're sol. Though since you said you had a screenshot I assume it was text based.

Edit: After reading the above post on the Knowledge Base article (which was posted a few seconds before my post) which turns out they updated relatively recently, your chances are grim. I guess, in the future when you Trade, I highly suggest demanding a deposit, so that you both are trading things of equal value.

Sorry to say you were scammed, and hopefully SOE does help you on this. Their policy has changed a few times on this.

Highly agree, VERY terrible move. I can already imagine how BAD the community MIGHT become with the new breed of players!

Ouch, yeah I just came back from about a 3 month break. So I had no idea they changed their policy. Never trading in this game again. Oh well, sorry man.

I still don't understand why people even do this "trading with strangers" business.
I either get what I need from the broker or try to earn and obtain it on my own.
Believe me, I live in New York City so unless its a friend of mine or someone from my league..... I TRUST NO ONE off the streets.

This is why you only trade with people you know or recognizable people on the forums
