I need to report a person for purposely hindering incompletion of the Police Station Duo. I have killed all the adds and sub bosses ALONE and now need to take the field disruptor to free the prisoners but problem is my duo partner is holding the disruptor and not letting go of it thus I can not complete this duo. I know he is not afk as he moves around and has rolled on loot that only I fought the adds to even get. I'm in the game right now as of 8:56am waiting to finish this. I've been in here for 37 minutes so far now. I dont want him to recieve loot I fought alone for or let him fight alone cause I leave and recieve abondonment timer. sounds like he's greifing you because he's sore about something. figure out what it is and then move on. Also. type in /report "player name" and fill out report. don't include quotes.
i say wait him out make him leave! and to report some one the best way is to write a ticket on the soe website... under in game support. but i can tell you nothing will happen to this guy, since he is not breaking the user agreement. i think?
I'm pretty sure that it is against the ToS of the game. I remember back in the day people were being banned for door blocking in the night clubs and police departments. Griefing isn't allowed in the game and that is clearly what the guy is doing to the poster of this topic.
I moved on but thanks for showing me how to report. I just cant believe how selfish people are. Its a duo, if he wanted to do something solo we have dlc 6 stuff and challenges.
I know I might be late, but try getting an explosive barrel and smash it near him. Should blow him up and release the disruptor. Then try as quickly as you can to pick it up and do what you need to do.
In order to get him to let go, you can try walloping him with an object. Meteor, Lightweight, Bouncy Ball, 2nd Anniversary Cake, etc. The physics collision will cause them to drop the object if they are knocked down. As for players griefing in this manner, my response in the past has been to politely write in the group chat "I'm going to make a sandwich while you're afk. Don't start without me." Then I alt-tab the game and do something else for a bit (for example, file my ticket through the website). Generally it seems as though their goal is to bait you into becoming upset so that you will curse at them and violate the terms of service yourself, and then they can report you and get you banned for their own petty behavior. Can't allow yourself to get dragged into their games. Often, if they think you're afk, they will either leave or try to finish it without you (because you expressly asked them not to). Either way, it's a win for you.
