How is Private Match working for you?

I tried BCTE one time and made it past Stompa, but not last boss. It took several hours of dying, learning and tweaking things. I ended up inviting a buddy in just to finish up. And I'm not sure how anyone would do it in NON tank powers. The most PITA thing is there is almost no way to get all the cogs in last boss, so you are wasting burn on several plants through the fight or you can get overwhelmed, losing power, being stunned and dodging the rock drops from Stompa. Again, fun for a challenge, but makes no sense to do regularly. 0 out of 5, would not recommend.

I haven't run Courthouse in awhile, but IIRC, isn't movement mode only switched off for the first phase? I mean, I know the enemies there love to spam "Grounded", but I'm pretty sure that at some point, it stops restricting movement, because you have to be able to get up to where the judge is.

I think it will last until people level up Constantine, because he seems pretty useful for soloing those instances. I'm still missing a style from Wayward Souls and I don't get tired of running it solo while doing Daily Dose. And the Arcane Edict also grants 1 extra mark and it gives me something different to do. I wonder if those Edicts should make a comeback - I think it'd be better than having the new "Flashback" instances.

I believe it's meant to be on for the first phase, until the emitters are destroyed. I just thought if the grounding was inconsistent (per the wiki) I might be able to get up there. My group hasn't done it in ages, and it can be a pain with the wrong crew. Yesterday there was a moment where I regained flight on passing the main door, but I lost it again and I couldn't finish the phase.

ETA: Happened again today - grounded on entry, but on going around the front of the building I regained flight and was able to capitalise on it and get to the top of the dome.

It's the first week, so I'd be very surprised if there weren't people soloing stuff "just because", but it's going to be very very very useful for our League Raid runs, where people either have either Alts in the other faction, or Friends there that we can't group with directly, or we just don't have or need a full 8. No more queue-and-leave is the single largest benefit to our Groups, but going in solo or two-handed is the single greatest benefit to me as an individual and my friends. There's nothing more frustrating than building an 8-person group, running an entire piece of content, only for someone to accidentally break a feat at the end - and then they're unwilling to run it again, leaving us scrabbling around for two or three more people.

Get in the alert, go out of the safety zone, walk slowly until the "x" (the objetive) as soon as you get there your movement will ger back and can fly to the building, just go up and not remain (or close to) the ground so the enemies do not see you, almost it is working for me everytime and i can fly until i step on the ground again.

Ps: On thus alert, i'm trying to get the Alpha, Beta, Gamma unit feat, someone knows if the units appears always on the same positions?

You won't believe how many feats were ruined running with league mates or randoms, Even an easy feat as avoiding the flying robots in that one alert, I switched to my battle tank and i'm soo glad they implemented private ques, i was able to get 5 new skill points just grinding and getting feats from duos and easy alerts alone.

They do not appear in the same positions, but they do appear in only a handful of spots, so there are large areas you don't need to bother 'searching' like the entire area where the first part of the run takes place with the boxes and waves of adds.

I find the appear MOST in the areas on the building where there is a 'flat' spot to stand. The upper areas above the spot you destroy the grounding devices, the back porch, front porch and they do appear behind the building on the ground. It won't cover all instances, but search those areas first and it should help get lucky. BTW, in case you didn't know, it's only 1 per run and random...so when you get down to only 1, hopefully you won't be in there 20x to get him done.

Thank you, in fact i was avoiding the adds part to avoid to fight hehe but it is good to know they do not appear there at all.

About missing just one...well, i'm missing just Alpha and with my luck probably i'll have to take those 20 tries or even more

They will also appear on the ground, just not on the main battlefield.

Ah. Usually, when I'm in a group -- and I know the run doesn't go to another location where I won't be able to get back to earlier areas -- I just wait until the instance is done, before picking up briefings and investigations. Well, unless at least half the group is picking them up as we go, because I know they're not going to charge into a boss room and start the fight while I'm picking something up.

I like it alot. On a less active like EU PC\PS, it's extremely useful. Could get some raids done to farm Titans base items, so this really helped with that - as not everyone was able to come online, so we only queued with a few people. Even less for the second raid.
Also, I like running things on my own too and generally being able to solo duos now is great for me.

I ran the casual KNA alert to get the last boss feats on Faust. I was trying to kill Faust without killing the adds, but my laughing knight ghost thing killed an add because they are so weak. So I ended up just doing the kill 40 adds one. I might try again and take off my augments, or just try reg. I was able to capture both nodes in casual by running over to the 2nd node before the other one got captured, but I'm not sure if it will be too hard on reg.

If you are tanking, you should be able to hold both sets of the original adds, then kite them around, but getting the captures would mean popping on and off the node as the adds tried to catch up to you...and if one slips off they might run to the other node. If you kill the adds it will get hectic fast trying to cover both sides.

I'd suggest waiting for 5 min though, so you don't need to deal with the countdown timer. The 5 min thing works in casual same as elite/reg.

Yeah I should have mentioned in my original post but I did wait until 5 minutes to capture the nodes. That way I just had to get both at the same time and not hold for 2 minutes. If I try on reg I might use my tank, but I'll probably try 1 more time on casual and remove the augments so my summoned ghost doesn't kill an add.

I've been soloing the silent school on casual for farming purposes, even though i still have not found the dead kings sword i have however been finding other things that're worth a good bit to make bank.

The old brothers in arms and Family reunion alerts are pretty easy to run through, quite fun to play them again as well. always nice seeing bright shining Gotham city and dark night Metropolis. (Villain side versions of the instances)

I was finally able to complete the Schrodinger's Council feat in return to the nexus, that's a difficult instance to solo but with the right rotation it can be completed, and the legion HQ Alert was another on my list of backlog feats I was able to clear out. Going back and playing this older content with a decent challenge has been a blast, just wish some of the raids could be done solo as a non tank power
