How I feel about Skill Points :)

I believe Skill Points and Combat Rating or equally important. Hence why I think the number of Skill Points someone has should be equal to or above their combat rating. That's equality in my opinion in regards to Combat Rating and Skill Points. Of course having more Skill Points than CR isn't equality but it's slightly better than equality because it's many more stats to have I don't think anyone should descriminate others because of Skill Points and to this day I continue to see other players "wavedox" (it's a verb now I guess) others to degrade them and make them feel bad but Skill Points do not define a persons Skill because I have 131 Skill Points on my main (the highest amount I've ever had been playing for four years) and I don't really notice a difference between having 70 Skill Points and 131 (I'm still a super squishy Tank lol). So in reality, it doesn't matter. Not to mention, most of those feats are just super easy you just have to read them before, and do the content as the feat insisted. That is not Skill, that's the ability to be aware of what you're doing. Everyone has that!

I dont care about other players skillpoints. I dont even care about their powerset or cr.
Only thing i do care is that they try their best or somewhat close to it.

I don't care how good a person is, if they're abusive toward me or my friends they're gone...I do like your point...(that's MMO's in general)

I'll run with anyone, because back when I had 50 SP someone ran with me.
But, you treat anyone in my group or League badly, and you're out.

My League run Raids on Saturday night. One night we had to PUG for 1 person for an OP. We get in and the PUG instantly begins a vote to kick one of our healers claiming they didn't have enough skill points to be 'useful.' We kicked him and never reopened the instance.

I don't care about Skill Points or CR. I care that you are a decent person and, when we're in an instance that you know your role, or you're at least trying.

Furthermore, I don't like those people who will leave an instance as soon as they enter for no apparent reason. Or people who just begin trying to kick/insult other players. "You're undergeared!" Why the **** do you think I'm here?

I got that far and felt I should disagree........

I really like skill points and feat hunting, I have worked all the way up to 210 SP so far. Still I want to get the maximum there is in the game. I am not sure how much they help a rage DPS since an ice dps with only 70 can out burn me. I found they were helpful while tanking but after 140 I don't think the stat differences have helped much other than I have more dominance than any other tank I come across. Just FYI a squishy rage tank is usually a bad loadout and rotation.

Why, thank you. I used to use it every so often, but then the DLC nation attacked. I still do it to defend lower leveled players.

I know haven't been on in like forever, but I totally agree with you! I LOVE skill points! I honestly think they help a ton, but on the topic of being rude, that's unacceptable. I can't think of a valid readon to be rude.

I get all my skill points because it is fun and it add more to do in the game. Not because I have a obligation. We are all free to get them or not. Of course you can get stronger and be more efficient in your roles with them.

Well it depends just how undergeared you are..some people just do T5 solos then q up for a&B and think that will end up getting carried if higher crs are in there. I hate people like that, at least run some alerts and have some decent gear before qing for raids.

As long as you aren't in half t4 gear and half t5 green gear you get from solos and duos then you should be fine as long as you're not running around starting the raid and getting killed

I'm in the same boat as you, been playing since the game went F2P and my highest is only like 133 lol. Still do good though
