Homecoming is disappointing

I've had 2 of them in instances. No idea of the odds. I had to buy the gong though, it hasn't dropped for me.

I had the gong drop in the Star Labs solo (villain side) where you go in and fight Superman.

I got one today in the alert, on one of my alts. I'm going to guess, pretty low odds. I've run the seasonal 11 or 12 times, and I've gotten two collection pieces, both today, and one of them wasn't even from the seasonal alert -- it was a drop from Metallo, during a story mission.

I got the Self-Care Guidebook from STAR, when you rescue Superman.

And got the Yoga Mat in "Last Son of Krypton".

No idea but out of 90 runs (that I started keeping track of, there were another 2-3 days I didn't keep track but I also didn't get a candle then) across 14ish alts of just the event I ended up (finally) with 3 of the candles and 3 of the other rare one komander or some such.

I've only just started this seasonal (ok...I did the 1st day...but was off for like 10) and the 'top' drop collection is still at 30M+. That's more expensive than many of the 2 recent DLC collections that drop in raids...and there were only a few of them last night when I checked. I don't mind buying a few if I need to, but by now there should be more being listed...which means the drop rate is pretty low for a seasonal. Could be hoarders I suppose, but I'd wager not.

That's another bothersome thing. There are 6 or 7 pieces that drop at OW nodes pretty frequently(yoga mat being one of those) and you can collect them in probably 30-40 min with a good route, batman ally or radar detector. They also are being sold for sub 100K prices almost across the board. THOSE pieces should not be in the end boss loot tables, further increasing the chance that if you catch one on a drop, it would be one of the ones you really need...not some repeat piece you picked up on a node on day 1...and can't sell for $1 even.

Well for that, probably 1/5 months

I'm playing this for hours everyday and the Cleasing Candle collection piece for Raven's emote never drop for me. I'm barely getting anything new, there's literally no difference between last year and now. It's so feat focus it feels like work. They didn't even try to create something new this year, Blackfire style was already there, we just weren't able to get it until now.

Starfire's an alien, and they can't come up with Tamaranean base items or a Titan Bot base pet? This is why I don't have Meta toons, almost everything that would make them interesting is behind a paywall or it's in Survival Mode. Not to mention that we have everything for Star Sapphires, except for the Violet Light power!

Which server are you guys running in? Cause I am running daily on 12 of my toons and I have completed the collection on 5 of them. Have 2 more Candle collection item sitting in my shared bank. It does drop in the alert for me.

Needing to trade for drops we expect from daily content over time is awful, and if that's a reasonable expectation going forward, it'd be cool if those in charge clued us in *shrug*
...nothing to detailed, just how they see the role of seasonal events going forward.* I've got an entire week on you, and I'm missing the same 2 drops as my 2nd day of Homecoming. The broker may get considered at the end if nothing changes. Welcome to this year's Starfire party, btw.

Yeah, it's not that I'd want to have to trade for it, I just like having the option. Personally I only run as much as I HAVE to with seasonals, and for 300 marks, that's 3 alts 10x. I doubt I'll catch the candle drop in 30 runs, so off to the broker I will go.

Ugh, and can they add a few more of the boulder toss games? It's the only good one to run on repeat every day and I think there are only 2 stations, both of which are always occupied, vs the ballista game or DDR one which seem to have 4 or 5 each, mostly empty.

I'm on EU PS. Too bad cause I would have traded/sold if you really wanted it. It goes off for 30mill in the broker.

Funny thing is, the hardest one I still haven't got is the Gong. Had to buy them off the broker for 5mill.

I actually needed the Yoga Mat, so was glad when it dropped. The cheapest on the EU server this morning is $399,999 (so unlikely it was $1 on day 1). But I don't generally buy anything seasonal on the broker until the seasonal ends anyway (because I know that if I bought something, it would drop for me five minutes later).

Meh, I could have sent you about 10 of them after eating collections on like 5 toons over here in the US. Now...I did do a bit of heavy farming on the island, using Batman in the PvP phase...so I did 'farm' the collections vs just running content, but it did drop there and the gong and candle at least...do not. I suppose I wouldn't care so much if you also could get those ultra rare collections from node farming, as that's how some people do it, but as far as I know, they don't. If the loot tables are different...they should be different all the way. A seasonal drop collection should not be so rare as to be priced at 30M+.

I'm on EU server and have Yoga Mats. For me, the Gong is hasn't dropped yet. I bit the bullet after 10 days and bought it off the broker for a mill. Seems different accounts have different rare drops.

FYI, Yoga mat drops on normal queues for me. Got it in a solo of Metal 1 yesterday.

I enjoy the events, the base items, the styles, the pets. Homecoming is still quite new. It lacks a Vault. It needs to branch out into other characters. Have "Hall of Justice" type base gear but for Titan Tower. How about Beast Boy?
Each seasonal, they decorate the area with base items not necessarily from that seasonal. I found myself looking for a disco ball, but I have to wait for Valentines. Since the event is new, maybe it could fill in the gaps with items from other seasonals?
I enjoyed the new Pride Month Seasonal Vendor - It should include all rainbow themed items, including materials and things from St Patriks.

I also jam on Seasonals as its a great way to make coin.

We really need more options for "painting" the base walls - they are so dark otherwise
