Healer Debuff on DPS

I was told that the new fire and ice update would fix the problem... but it seems healers are still able to debuff tank class DPS.... This allows fire, ice or earth dps to be debuffed without being able to be cleansed from the tank, and ultimately leads to a vulnerable DPS class for PVP.... Healers have been using this to there advantage for a long time... so this update is only fully worthwhile for tanks, pvp wise, while the tank class DPS still has a critical weakness...

The debuff does nothing except strip shields.

You can check the effect status and your stats, they will be the same before and after a debuff.

trollers can debuff any class is the difference.... and earth and ice 's shields would be useless, but fire can still heal themselves

Healers still have an advantage over tank classes.. even when they are in DPS role. Same with DPS from healer classes, controllers have the role advantage.

Controllers can't debuff tanks.

The healing a Fire DPS can do to himself is irrelevent. The same goes for Earth and Ice. The only decent heal they can perform on themselves is a SC. Even then it's not like full health again.

The RPS system isn't against Roles, its against Classes.

they dont have an advantage in DPS role Zypher... and i know Healers have advantage, they get the extra damage but being able to make shields useless is what I'm trying to bring to light

Any power we hit is a rebuff.

I could use the Snow Devil and he will rebuff me(I'm talking out of my *** on that one though, but other powers will like BW or WT)

I agree that Tanks should have a larger part in affecting Trolls in teams, but what Trolls can do to a DPS is negligable. DPS use damage as their tool. We attempt to destroy the opponent before any serious damage can be done to us.

In 1v1's...this is actually pretty annoying, but it is what it is.

Debuffs are against powersets and not roles. If you are a fire dps there is very little a healer can debuff in the first place. Ice or Earth may have more to complain about (shielding-reflect/damage resistance.) But fire can still do damage just cannot heal--how is that bad?

healers only debuf the power sets immunities, such as burning det, shatter restraints and so on.... ohh and a pvp trinket can remove the debuff and so could a trollers defib/recharge/psi empowerment.

If it wasn't a big deal then more premades would not be terrified of bringing an ice/fire/earth dps into arenas out of fear that the other teams healers will destroy them. That's not the case for gadgets/mental/hl being destroyed by tanks. Or nature/sorcery/electric being destroyed by controllers.

you know just as well as anyone else the main reason people use gadgets in 5s is photon blast. And you also know how healer damage is a joke...

Maybe let's go for the hat trick. You are QQing over something that is not that big of a deal. Did you know a controller can debuff a Nature/Sorcery/Electric DPS player's ability to heal. That's CRAZY TALK!

No doubt. If the RPS system favors anyone, it's controllers over Nature/Elec/Sorc DPS. Even then, that's not something to be bothered by.
