Ok, here it is for the role players out there....get your styles moving. https://twitter.com/DCComics/status/642352301965975552/photo/1
Wings can be added later via CGI. I was actually more concerned about the helmets, and have to say I'm pleased with how they turned out.
That color scheme is pretty close to what I use for my Hawk-inspired character, so that's kinda neat. Pretty good overall, but that mustache? Not quite sure yet. Almost a bit distracting.
The costumes are a good Arrowverse translation. I really like the masks. It was important to get those right. What's Hawkman going to bash with that mace-shaped lollipop though?
They need to ditch the pseudo-Iron Man look and just give him a costume similar to the Flash, The Atom isn't suppose to fire blasters at people On Topic: I like the suits and hope that the CGI wings wont look too terrible, i do think that Hawkman's moosetache looks creepy but whatever, once again they decide to tone down the colors but it's okay, i wonder if they are going to say that their armor is Nth metal or if they're not going to get into that, hopefully we can get a real trailer in the next few months because o cant wait for Legends
I can understand the discussion about the mace to an extent, but the size seems to be about right for that kind of weapon. I remember being kind of surprised by seeing the actual size of a mace or flail for the first time, and not all of them are the massive weapon that we're used to seeing the Hawks use in the comics. Besides, we're talking about a solid piece of spiked metal being swung with a lot of force. It doesn't necessarily have to be super huge to do some serious damage.
Fair enough. I suspect a lot of viewers will have a similar reaction and they could always offset by explaining it's made of some type of Thanagarian alloy that is nearly indestructible.
So, they are going with the teenagers version then? The helmets are supposed to be different, more different than that His mace looks more like what her mace should be (his is supposed to be a little bigger, maybe double or half-again as big) Not going to comment on the 70's pawn-stache (at least he doesn't have a shag-carpet chest and gold medallion )
