Yeah, it's still pretty bad, the game just kicked me out during Neron's Underworld. The lagging has been going on for a few days, but today is worse. I might not getting things done before reset.
Lag is probably why I got kicked out for 200k damage with 1.2m health and 880k shield and after got knocked out for a total of 500k in total of 1.2m health and 800k shield..
Is it because of the Superman Day Event by chance? I have been experiencing lag/delay/connection issues as well.
the day before i didnt log, took a break from the game, logged yesterday did spring time alert okay, warped to metro and got a huge loading time so i exited the game. logged back in, went to do stabilizer and the game crashed on the load screen for that, came here and saw the banner saying there are problems, so gave up until main is over today. so fingers crossed, after the maint, all is well also saw they adding an extra hour to work on it. maybe i am reading it wrong or looking into it weirdly, but it seems like a nice fun accidental admission that they havent even worked on it yet. also, it makes me feel better about my choice to abandon the game after my 2nd mishap instead of constantly "fighting" thru any crashing, if they themselves will be like, "hey, we got a maint coming up, lets save the problem until then to fix it". so it kind worked out both ways, i decided to wait until maint to play the game and have them fix the problem, they are waiting for maint to fix the problem. win/win
Tried to go back to my lair, nothing worked in it. Tried to switch to an alt, took 5 minutes, and after connecting, could do absolutely nothing beyond walking around the lair. Teleporters refused to function, couldn't take the exit, menus wouldn't load...
Last night when I went to the On Duty tab it took forever to load the page. It wouldn't let me que so I logged off. I've never seen it be that bad before so you know the servers are busy.
It's IMPOSSIBLE to play right now. The lag is so severe that the game unplayable. I tried to exit the game but it didn't work - I had to close the window. Even the forums are terrible. I BET it has something to do with the updated Phase Management System they've introduced along DoR Aftershock. Unless there's something else we don't know about.
Exactly the issue I have with the game. I'm their target moron. Year subscription; Yeah, of course.. Digital stuff to throw my disposable income at; Take my money. Superman Celebration, lets spend some money! But even my hooked on the game behind draws the line at being taken advantage of so blatantly. I mean, you do have to actually make the game playable. An hour or two here and there; Whatever. Weekly update to fix whatever they broke last weeks update; Yep, that's modern gaming. Can't play for days; NO. Nope. No Way. Now you crossed the capitalist line of me trading my money for your goods and or services. You have my money, and you aren't delivering the service. It's worse when they tell us nothing. Daybreak cares right? I mean they will make up for this right? Right?
You're lucky you could even see your teleporter. I was on an alt and went to her base -- it was completely empty for 3 or 4 minutes. As in no vendor, no mainframe, no generator, nothing. That toon got stuck on an infinite loading screen either trying to go to or trying to leave Gotham (I don't remember which). Signed onto my main account, did the Superman stuff and open world Spring stuff, and left the game, switched back over to the window on my alt account, and it was still stuck on the loading screen. The lag is terrible. Most times I had to interact with something, I had to do it 2 or 3 times before it registered. Several times, my entire tray was on cooldown for over half a minute. Other times, nothing was on cooldown, but nothing was responding, either. The game was a little bit laggy last night, but nowhere near as bad as today. It's borderline unplayable.
Yeah after hours waiting to login since it kept staying on the loading screen as soon as I was in my base I could see I wouldn't be able to play. No consoles work in my base. No tabs or menus will open. It looks like the game is stuttering. It was laggy for the last few days but it's even worse today.
I'm playing DCUO again after a long break, and I've been experiencing terrible delays on the Xbox again for a few days now. On top of that, players are becoming invisible in the new alerts and raids. Oh, yes and not to forget the sound bug on Xbox, before I start the game I have to clear the cache so that I have sound ingame. The game is really in a very bad condition.... Sadly
This is really starting to affect in-game play. I’m getting stuck in animations that have a 1.5sec cooldown. I’m being stunned by ads and bosses and literally can’t break free for about 5+ seconds. Amongst many other delays to button taps and just things being off all over the place. Why is this game in a perpetual state of disrepair?! Daybreaks biggest earner - yet those pumping HUGE amounts of money in, are given the crappiest quality.
