So in the solo, if Harley gets to do her first red circle attack, her defense nearly triples, and she's immune to half of my attacks. The fight drags on.
Okay, so here's the process of how she gets really high defense. This is on regular now, by the way, and I can duplicate this 100% of the time. Go into the fight with Hammer Harley, do damage. She opens a boom tube, teleports to center, BAM! As soon as she exits the boom tube, she gains about 75% damage resistance. I drop from 6 digit damage, to 4 digit damage: immediately. She does her attacks, blah blah, the next boom tube she opens, everything returns to normal, the rest of her health melts away quickly in a furious display of damage fueled by irritation. Does nobody else run the solo? This is a pretty obvious bug to anyone who is slightly attentive to their character.
Ive run it a few times lately (elite), noticed she was tougher but just assumed that it had been ninja buffed for whatever reason. Didnt pay too much attention or tried to figure out what was happening like you did.
More like a 90% damage reduction. Some think it’s increased health in game but it’s not that as the total boss damage is still 14mil in regular and 34mil in eleet. This poop is so annoying to deal with that the players just have to accept it and move on.
Ya, that's what I was thinking too. All this extra "forced playtime" is going to end this game quicker than the devs think. Like this new 'wEeKlY mission" where you help the cops and such 5 times: for only TWO HUNDRED exp towards your OP belt, that you can't even trade to your other characters! In my opinion (and some others that I've talked with), they're (the devs) either trying to send the game to the grave, or they are frantically trying to find ways to keep players logged in. It's amazing what quality content would do though.
I was so excited when I saw new consoles in Apokoliptic Gotham, thinking we’d gotten some new content/missions, then saw it was for a 14 year old intro mission and was like wtf, is this a bug? Loool Not worth the time whatsoever.

And about 2-3 out of 10 attacks, Harley seems immune to damage. I can hit some really high critical strikes with a few moves, and often enough it gets the immune treatment. Excellent! Apologies for derailment. When you say, "Damage reduction was tuned a bit too high", could you clarify: *Are we supposed to see reduced damage after the first boom tube opens? *Does it return to normal on 2nd boom tube? *Is the reduction supposed to be a constant reduction?
Protection from damage is during her long animation attacks. The reduction of the amount of protection will be in the Tuesday (12/17) hotfix.
