I'm just gonna quote my statement from the second page of his ridiculous thread yesterday ... "LOL this guy made this thread so he could try and reverse people's opinion on him and his leaguemates.... Keep up your desperate stories...we all know you glitched throne but say whatever you'd like so you can sleep at night " As true now as it was yesterday....no confession needed
I just read the original thread and coming from someone that played with RTS several times, it is a bit disappointing. I think this post sums up my thoughts on the matter because scenarios like this only make me think would this confession exist had he not been caught. At the end of the day it is just a game but we are all still real people that play these games and seeing behavior like this, game or not, is disheartening.
At least you didn't get a 4 paragraph novel of a lie via a PM... Talk about disheartening... I'm disgusted Whizzkid...
Some of you are congratulating and I don't get it. I just don't... If you cheated cool you got (kinda) what you deserved. DONT LIE ABOUT IT AFTER YOUVE BEEN BUSTED!!! If there wasn't a huge uproar about the dishonest gameplay RTS and others would of claimed greatness and NO one would of batted an eye. (Well maybe a few lol ) Gunny you brought this on yourself and were dishonest a SECOND time... LMAO like seriously GG DUDE...
I'm not condoning what he did, nor the lies he told. Regardless of his reason, what I'm weighing in here on is his admission in the end. I read the thread start to finish before coming back to this thread to post what I did. I am aware of how intricately his lies wove themselves. I saw him burn those in his closer circles. I read it all. But what I am respecting here is his final act on the matter. As I said; regardless of his reasons, he did it. He came out and outed all of it. Judge him all you want. Take the dim view of his reasons if you will. But just remember: This man has to live with this for the rest of his life. Why? Because realistically; though many of you will move on. Maybe even forgive. Possibly forget. But others of you out there will not. Many will not forgive and forget, and because of that, they will not allow Gunny to, either. There will always be someone who dredges this whole thing from the past to throw in his face whenever the whim suits that person. That is a self-inflicted legacy he has imposed upon himself, true enough. Gunny knows this, make no mistake about that. What matters is that in the end, he stood and faced it. He owned it. A lesser person would not have. A lesser person would have simply disappeared from the forums, or changed their name to hide and hope that eventually it would go away. Would he have done so if not called out on it? There isn't a person on here who can say yes or no to that with any conviction at all. Anybody who says that they CAN are only speculating at best, or lying to justify ripping into Gunny some more over what happened. And I can tell you now that there are people who will do precisely that, if they haven't already. ... And yes, I get it. Gunny hurt a lot of people, and betrayed trust. He will never be able to take that back. Eventually, you may be cool with Gunny again, even call him 'friend'. Right now, however; anger will out. The tire tracks of the bus that many were thrown under in the lies told are still fresh and aggravated. But I'm taking the 100% objective here and applauding the guy who stood up to claim his comeuppance. Regardless of the crime(s) and concordant severity, and regardless of the whys and wherefores of the apology; the act of doing so is worthy of respect, and I am acknowledging that. And for the record: I am 1000% opposed to cheats. Exploits are; in my opinion: a deplorable means of getting ahead in any game, and I harbor a dim view of any who engage in doing so. Those who do it and get away with it: I have loathing and passionate disgust for. This last point being moot, as those powers that be have levied a fair(ish) penalty. And I shall state; one more time: I respect Gunny for his decision to come out and lay it all on the table. And as for your serial killer/criminal reference... Just so you know, people CAN change. Not that I subscribe to religious allegory at face value, but I will point out that according to a certain book; the only known person EVER to be personally invited to heaven by Jesus himself was a criminal in the middle of his death sentence being carried out, for NO other reason than the fact that he confessed. Just mull that one over.
The only reason he decided to apologize was because Lyza was about to out him with the screenshot they have of him glitching. So, rather than letting himself get outed by Lyza he decided to come clean. Denying it every step of the way, even after he got outed by his league, he still decided to say they were liars and said and I quote " its a shame to see some of you Inconquerable guys trying to drag me down." LOLOL It's pretty hilarious though, thanks for the laughs.

I respect Gunny for coming out and admitting his mistake, regardless of the timing. Yes, cheating is not good, but it does take a real man to admit when he's wrong, and he did it, so I respect that. I sincerely hope he gets forgiveness from this community, something I never got. However much it bothers you Gun, try to let it go and move on with the game. You already did your part by confessing.
Agree 100%... We caught one of his leaguemates earlier in the thread and then he just made it worse trying to act like his was all legit. Congrats you came clean if it helps you sleep at night I suppose... To me you simply came clean cause you were caught in a lie. Surprised you guys didn't all just switch gear so we couldn't see it in the app like other people in the thread did. Inconquerables were conquered by the census apps.
Not that I'm in much of a position to say this, but... I mean, really. I've thrown EVERYTHING on the table here and put it all out for everyone to see. There is nothing here not explained in black and white detail. Some of you are overjoyed I did so. Others will never talk to me again. None of you will see me as the same person. Then, some of you respond with even more scrutiny? I'm not sure what else there is to say on the matter. Yes. There were discussions made with a few people that evening. I'll even say a few of them were members of the Inconquerables. I decided to create this of my own volition hours later. I could have very well simply hid away by changing names, left the game, or call people's bluffs to expose me and just kept riding the story. Instead, I did choose to lay this all out for you in this much detail. It was just that. MY choice to do this. My hands were not forced. I have yet to see anyone else do anything to this caliber either. I made some very serious mistakes, and covered those mistakes with more of them... and for that, several people I knew for years will probably see me as nothing now. I regret what I did, but i'll wear it the rest of the time I play. Many of you have lied. Many of you have stabbed someone in the back. Many of you have even glitched before. By no means do I accuse anyone of anything specifically, but I can say no one is perfect regardless of what they claim otherwise. What I did was terrible, but hey.... I own it and will continue to do so. I've even put it in my signature to remind myself of it and anyone else reading my content anytime I post. People are going to have their own way to react to this, and frankly, whatever you choose is entirely up to you. The whole story is out for all to read who cares, and you are free to believe whatever you wish of it. I'm not running from this, even if the entire playerbase alienates me and I play the game alone the rest of the time its up. If vengeance is anyone's goal here, you'll be glad to know several PUG raids have already excluded me based on this coming to light. I don't dare attempt to join a league - anyone foolish enough to accept would then share my stigma. I only hope I am forgiven eventually, but I won't forget it - nor will some of you.
Why can't people just let it go? We've all peed on the hamster once or twice and later lied about it.
The inconquorables were apart of this? Damn. I'm in that league. I haven't logged on in awhile, but I guess i need to look for a new league. I don't want to be associated with people who are known cheaters
The thing amusing me the greatest about this is dude acting like people thought he was jesus or something before this. Like people are weeping for their fallen hero or something....LOL Get over yourself man!
That wasn't my view at all on this, Mint Stiletto. It was simply for those who cared. Some cared enough to read my content, some even followed, and a week ago I stabbed them in the back with my actions and I am acknowledging that, along with all of the other people I threw under a bus to deflect accusations. It was nothing more, nothing less. If you couldn't have cared less in the first place, then posting on here isn't exactly reflecting your view on the matter. :/
I did say I found it amusing,my post there fore perfectly reflects my view on the matter as my tendency for posts lean towards the ones that amuse me
