Guides to Creating Authentic Marvel Themed Characters in DCUO

Hey guys thought I'd start this thread for anyone looking for help creating an authentic Marvel themed look for their character in DCUO. As a player who creates mostly themed players I take pride in making my characters look as close to their source material as I can and wanted to give a hand to any other Marvel fan looking to create great looking Marvel characters inside of DCUO.

If there are any characters you are interested in seeing or just a question about a style let me know . I'll be posting some shots to show you the characters I have already in game and some other looks I have created.

*Although, I usually spend most my time creating Marvel toons but if I happen to come across a look for another universe I'll definitely be sharing.*

Hi Mighty

I am a big fan of Gambit from the XMen. Is it possible for you to make a costume and give the breakdown of what you used and the color codes for the scheme.

GAMBIT
Here are a few looks I came up with... (once a fourth color is made available things can be done even better)

1.The first is the generic duster look with a different style leg than most use (ya, Gambit wears a coat but it takes away from his look in DCUO I think).
-Dashing Crusader head
-Classic Duster chest
-Sharpshooter legs
-Seraph feet

2.The Second look is the Gambit look I like more (without jacket) that can be done with silver/white or with blue as the second color.
-Dashing Crusader head
-High Collar chest
-Master Mercenary belt
-Sharpshooter legs
Seraph feet

Captain America please. Classic and movie versions

This is as close as I could get to Cap.
The Bucky Cap version is the easiest to make.

Head - V Slimeline
Chest - Slimline
Hands - Classic
Waist- Sunclasped
Legs - New Genesis
Feet - Cuffed or Clean Cuffed (personal choice)
Back - Small Bird Wings then obtain * Hawk Wing Style

Champions Costume: this is the red/white costume with yellow/gold hands and feet.

Hands - Trim Classic
Legs - Slimline
Feet - Tall Classic then obtain **Stalwart Defender Feet Style
Back - Small Bird Wings then obtain * Hawk Wing Back Style

Angel Again Costume: this is the blue/white costume Magneto designed for him.

Alternate Back - Small Mech Wings then obtain ***Nth Metal Battlesuit back style
Skin: Blue in color

ARCHANGEL

Death Costume:

(At Character Creation)

Head - Partial Cross
Chest - M Slimeline then obtain **** Angled Flexsuit Style Chest
Legs - Two color Slimline then obtain ****Angled Flexsuit Style Legs
Back - Small Mech Wings then obtain ***Nth Metal Battlesuit back style

* To obtain the Hawk Wing style back piece complete "Survival of the Fittest" Brief collections Episode 1 and 2.
** Stalwart Defender Feet Style can be obtained from Promethium Lockbox drop or the Broker
*** Nth Metal Battlesuit back can be obtained in the Watchtower (hero) and Promethium Lockbox Drop (Villain)
**** Angled Flexsuit Style Chest and Legs are random drops in the Fortress of Solitude and Batcave raids. They are random drops and must be farmed.

Warmachine:
Steampunk style with Classic Tech Head

Partial star head.

Stalwart defender chest.(with this you can get the stripes)

Lined slimline legs.

Head - Gallant Centurion or Knight Style (personal choice)
Chest - Short-Sleeve Slimline
Back - Classic
Shoulders - None (later obtain Progeny of Darksied Style Shoulders)
Hands - Power Reinforced (later obtain Progeny of Darksied Style Hands)
Waist - Simple Utility (later obtain Bane Style Waist)
Legs - Athletic Slimline
Feet - Banded
