Guidelines for at tuning newly dropped gear

I had this mini guide from a user here that outlined at what CR you should be using/saving the new gear from AF3... but I lost it when I got my new phone. Anyone happen to have it? It's to make the most out of a new piece of gear, and not waste an item's potential

Attune it all any time every time.

Attune Chest, Legs, Back and Waist as those are 150 pieces as opposed to 153/156. They will attune to be the highest regardless of colour. Then when you hit about 179 start doing the rest. Save all other pieces until then.

I'm confused? Why would you wait to open gear?

Because planning it out let's you get your CR up a lot faster.

To then maximise your CR as quick as possible further down the road unless you're incredibly lucky or rich.

They are talking about the gear from tc's which does not have a set item level...?

They are talking about new gear dropping in AFIII...It attunes in CR according to your total CR.
So if you open an item too early, you won't get maximum benefit from it

I opened hands from TC last night and it attuned to 157...waist I can't remember exactly but think 157 as well
(was on 175 toon)

My plan is to attune every back, chest, legs, and waist I get as well as buy the rings, neck, trinket, utility belt when I have enough coins before attuning the other pieces. Everything else will sit in my inventory.

Attuning cr thresholds really should have been communicated in game.

Yes.

This can become confusing because you have to remember what cr you were when you attuned a piece ofor gear. Remember, hypothetically, you can be a 175cr, get a green chest and it attune to a certain item level. once attuned, it may put your overall cr up to 176. once that happens you could get a green chest on your very next drop but it will be higher than the one you just attuned because your overall cr went up.
It can get confusing.

So what do we do with the Vendor Gear if we have the Raid and Alert gear?

Vendor gear is better than both raid and alert gear drops.
