GU49: Fire, Ice and Gadgets

    Mepps has recently posted that development of the powers in GU49 have stopped.

    "At this point we view the power improvements mostly complete for GU 49, and the team is moving on to other things. That said, please continue to post any further bugs you find while testing. And thank you for testing!"

    So, how are the powers looking compared to each other? And how are they looking when compared to other powers outside the update?

    From what i read they are stronger than the current fotm

    It also seems that ice and fire do very similar amounts of damage. Not sure about gadgets, but it looks like it does even more I think.

    I never got an answer whether WT and BW will be WM excluded in the sense that if either DoT is active, whether you could still get the WM crit bonus from other powers. All I got was argument as to whether their first tick crits when performing a WM combo within the window, forcing me to go back and test (it does, at the moment, but no testing as to whether it will).

    When is something going to be done about gadgets. Gadget users come into pvp phase open world with pve gear on and hit emp or dart and 1 shot a whole group. This is stupid, there needs to be something done about this. I am in full 100 pvp gear and so are the other and emp or dart hit for sometimes 30k which kills everyone in the area. then i read your increasing the damage gadgets is putting out? what the heck is wrong with you. Do you not pay attention to the pvp community? I am thinking not since you have almost successfully gotten rid of it by forcing new players to start in pve phase. pvp phased player are becoming extinct something has to be done about this. Pvp is one of the best features about this game.

    It does seem to be ever-so slightly ahead of fire. Not sure what's it like in comparison with gadgets though.

    Still think Fire should have been made slightly stronger than Ice. Risk Vs. Reward an all....

    Risk v Reward was a wild stretch from the start. For comparison look at rage vs celestial. Rage has to be in full melee to do somewhere near damage to celestial's, which can be at full range. Even then rage will most likely do less damage and receive damage from adds or be one-shot by bosses. Healing factor helps them keep alive but when a boss can hit more that a rager can chew it gets messy.
