GU39 Preview: League Management

I have another question: Let's say I joined a league and then left it, and then rejoined again, will that show too?

Could you add a "Last log on/in" date to Roster; I would like to know all of if any active/inactive members in league.

What about that one time, i accidentally left my league... I may not be the longest tenured in my league, even though I formed it....

I like everything else apart of the new League features except the explicit mention of whether individual league members will be able to opt out of sharing their statistics and forcibly being ranked. Can you please comment if there will be a setting for this or not?

Players should not be forced to rank themselves or share their statistics especially when they have not been opted into doing this for potentially 3 years of membership.

Please let me know as this is a very important aspect to know about for me and I would guess a bunch of other players too. For myself I try to purposely avoid these kind of features as much as possible.

The fact that we can see skill points, Cr, and power is amazing. Long overdo but critically needed. Plz make this feature available for the general public

Why would you not want to share your rankings within your league? The information would be extremely helpful to league leaders, who can then determine whom may need the most help...

If your scared your league will black ball you, or otherwise discriminate against you, for say your skill points are far lower than what you led everyone to believe... then perhaps your in the wrong league.

Because it is my choice not to be ranked. As far as helpfulness how does me having the most KOs help? Or me using the most emotes? Etc., etc. Skill points has never been a truly helpful measure in-league or not (especially not as it is causes a lot of in-fights for groups).

As far as leagues go a sane league wouldn't institute a high CR requirement and would simply require you to be able to get into an instance. Knowing that I play a certain role can easily be determined by simply asking me so can knowing if I can run a certain piece of content. I do not accept random straight up invitations to a group as it is so regardless you have have to ask if I can run a certain instance. If I say yes I can obviously run that instance and thus you know something about my CR. Why again do you need to know my exact CR? You don't and nor does anyone else. Skill points is in no way a measure of strength due to the varying placements they can be put in.

Leagues already operate pretty well (and more social) without the need to uncontrollably measure any one member against another member. There is no practical reason you cannot simply ask me and be social. My stats and statistics are my business alone and I choose to share them with other players or not. I have been able to do this for over 3 years and I would expect that this choice be mine alone going forward. That is why I want the option and why I ask the question.

Respectively it is not your business why I don't want to share them. I provided this explanation though to show that the current system is fine and that giving players options is much better than not giving them options especially when you forcibly take the option of privacy away from them with a new feature.

If you have been in a league awhile and have run with members frequently they should already know your skill level, so there is no reason to be scared of your stats being exposed unless you have been lying to your league mates. CR, SP's, and power all make up a great beginning picture of who you are as a player and can make being a league leader much easier, especially when recruiting.

If these stats were being released to the whole community I could sympathize with your problem, considering they could be used to discriminate, but just having your league know these stats is much more beneficial than detrimental, in my opinion. I love this change and cannot wait for it to be implemented. I feel it will not only make league management easier but also help keep the community honest.

is there room to add a tab to a player in league to list alts?

Can we get a required confirmation for the "leave league" option? Also I'd love to delete this option from the group menu section, and leave it just in the league section.

More assumptions. I simply want the ability to control my own privacy, when to share, who to share with in league or not. I have been able to control my own privacy for 3 years. There is 0 reason to force me to give up my privacy regardless of how long I have played or been apart of a league.

I asked a simply question and made a request to give players more options. What is so wrong with me wanting to control my privacy?

If there is no privacy control than my only option is to leave a league I have founded and wish to support but wouldn't be able to because I value the control of my privacy. Why should the only choice of privacy control be to not be a part of a league that you have been apart of (or founded) for years without serious issues grouping/recruitment issues? Forcing a member to leave just because they want privacy control should never be the sole option.

Ive been saying i want role symbols next to names on friends and league list forever. But knowing the power of league m8s kid of does that. Example if u know some1 is rage they are tank or dps or both. But the symbols still would be great.

For sure. I'm okay with either or both. Ideally I'd like it in the table, not the detail.
