Test Discussion GU 58: Munitions Mid-range Adjustments

    You're still a-fair bit mid ranged. I wouldn't call splosions range all that melee, and if you were in a raid and you could find the perfect spot to still be a bit a far away from the boss but close enough to hit splosion. It was wonderful. I miss those days, when splosion didn't suck.

    Funny cause me and a league mate have always used the loadout i stated and have very very good results with it. And when i see a league mate of mine top the card in every instance he runs doing this and ive run with other munitions players and they dont come close to him or me it tells me maybe other people are doing something wrong. But im testing now and i will see what results i get. I will say it can be hard to believe some people on here considering some dont play certain powers on live but then they go test them in situations like this. But like i said i will see what results i get.

    Yeah if only... as it is on live at the moment u practically have to give the boss a colonoscopy for it to hit lol idk maybe even at 7m out it might still hit i have to check it out but from what ive seen on test it looks like its hitting for a decent amount

    I've read the thread and yes it's talking about mid range, which is what plosion technically is seeing the it's also mentioned in tunso's update note on the first page. Splosion if it's good should be a stable for every loadout. But lets not argue.

    Yea i was playing around with 50cal splosion and 5barrel n on live 5barrel was doing slightly more but im sure after the update splosion will be better overall what kills 50cal 4 me is the cast time is to vulnerable to interrupt but 5 barrel gets in a few hits b4 being interrupted

    Splosion seems to be hitting quite well from the videos i've seen on youtube. Average non crit around 22-24k and average crit around 50k+. That's pretty good i guess, the way it use to hit before the nerf.

    Yea i didnt create my munitions till after the nerf but i wish they would treat splosion like emp or mass terror

    That would be too op. The difference between munitions and those powers is that munitions channeling powers actually do quite a lot of damage, whilst the others really don't and rely on the big hits of emp and mass terror. If splosion hit like those powers with the channeling powers still hitting hard, it would be pretty broken. Splosion hitting for a generous amount like 50k crits is better and evens stuff out.

    My big problem with splosion is has and will always be something that has to be used at close range with 50cal you can start at range and close in plus it gives to advantage of inflicting burning damage which will increase the damage of chain gun and minigun splosion and 50 cal.

    Let me be clear also, i didnt specifically mean u. For example saw someone in the rage thread post #s and say btw i have never played rage. Now of course everyone can test, post #s and feedback. But how i take that feedback is going to be based on the person and how well/long they have played that power. Hope that clears up what i meant.

    I know you didn't mean me. I was just talking about your loadout, i've been munitions since it came out and still am just haven't been playing as of recent. And played munitions well enough to turn half of my league dps in to munitions in hopes of beating me and still didn't happen. I loved that, you know you really made someone salty if they switch to your power and still can't beat you. Things i loved about DC, hopefully this update will make me come back. They all eventually went ice and still couldn't hang, not even when the super clip mental and gadgets thing was going on.

    Power = Munitions
    CR = 126
    Precision = 10426 (with Escalating Might)
    Enemies = the 3 Sparring Dummies (League Hall)
    Time = 300 seconds (30 samples of 10 second parses)
    Damage goals = 35500 / 30000 / 25500 : melee / mid-range / long-range

    Melee
    Rotation: Explosion clipped by KI > Railguns > Rocket Launcher > 50 Cal > Explosion rinse and repeat (refresh KI)
    Melee average: 45,314.5
