    What's the point in high damage, if by the time you get there the Ice toon or Crystal already killed all the adds?

    Well I sure hope its a huge chunk of improvements concerning clipping AM and controllers' damage.
    I dont like the way clipping AM got "ghosted" out in previous updates.

    Infinite chaining can only have occasional use for controllers. If controller can afford to use infinite chaining constantly, he might as we go as Dps since group obviously dont need powering up.

    Clipping AM has to be addressed and at least one of current controller's tools of PoTs and Debuffs should apply Dazed PI.

    Alright it looks like everything is there that should be, but there's a note missing for Chain Whip and allowing Controllers to cause AM damage. Both of those are on PC Test right now as they should be. Sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks for the update. That automatically addressed two of the bugs found. Did you get a chance to see my last bug report which was with the damage modifier dropping (at least I think it's the modifier)? It's somewhere in there around page 2 with my Live test.

    EDIT: I believe Jacob Dragonborn's live test also showed this.

    But with the range updates (Melee, Mid, Long) you should be able to reach that amount with any combo in melee range right? Which means i should be able to sit in melee range and use train, light blast, mini gun, and snap trap, fan and get the same damage in different ranges. At least that's from my understanding.

    Yeah, there just weren't any notes about them. Whip trash has increased damage and Controller Role has AM damage.

    The damage buff has a duration of three minutes so for the purposes of testing, that will limit you to three minute blocks of time.

    Ahhh, interesting, I did not know this. Are there plans to change how long the buff lasts or no? I don't think it will be issue in actual combat since there's not a single instance in the game where you DPS for 5 straight minutes and most likely players will re-adjust during fight incase it goes down.

    Only cases I can think of are Survival Mode and Solo DPSing a boss in a scenario where all your dps friends die.....that a fight could last longer than 3 minutes. Even then, you will be forced to pickup or get CCed somehow so it will reset eventually. Well let me go test out a Whip trash rotation real quick.

    Wait, if the damage buff lasts 3 minutes.
    Does that mean why I've been seeing really low numbers in my parses?
    I've generally been doing 5 minutes worth of 10 second parses, that way everything averages out and I get 30 samples.

    Edit: Never mind. After re-reading it I don't think that has anything to do with the inconsistent damage from the combo am.

    Despite its glaring unpopularity, there's no plan to get rid of the legacy power refund mechanic for old-school clipping.

    Will this be revisited in the near future or soon to make the method in line with the Combo AM? I don't know how much time it will take to add damage scalars for the Clipping AM, making it similar to Rage, and even so just speaking on the subject is not on topic with the thread.

    This is due to the damage buff dropping off after three minutes, so you'll need to limit your rotations to three minutes.

    So does this mean we need to repeat the rotation every three mint? What about the more combo u do the better damage you get ?

    Also is there a way to change insp location please and light barrier ?

    Grasping hand and light blast animation are wrong as well .

    Alright, about "shortcuts". You have a shortcut that allows you to cause max damage after 1.5 seconds (not 2.5 seconds as mentioned earlier) if you're in combat. This is a pretty game-able mechanic and if you're creative it's really easy to never have to wait four seconds.

    Would you be willing to trade that shortcut for one that requires using a certain power? Keep in mind that this is only going to maybe get you going 0.20 seconds faster (if even that) because you will have to animate the shortcut ability which is going to be ~1.1 - 1.35 seconds. In all other cases combat or otherwise, it will be four seconds to max.

    To me with my player hat on, I wouldn't want this as the tradeoffs are worse IMO. I'd want to keep it as is where I knew I could always consistently being doing max damage after 1.5 seconds and I didn't have to be locked into very restrictive builds that require abilities deep in other trees.
