    Tell me, exactly how are you countered more than atomic and ice who are vulnerable to lunge 24/7 like HL?

    No need to be so hostile. No ill will intended. I just think that a bunch of you guys are clearly angry about GU43 and not even giving this update a fair shake.

    Also you didn't say how you're any more suspectible than any other power.

    I'm on a logitech controller from walmart xD I can't fly/use ss to save my life with the mouse/keyboard, I can't play on pc without a controller lol

    I think the confusion is coming that Delta, you are saying counter ie an add blocking and you landing on your butt which only applies to melee attacks. Trell is taking you literally on that term. I'm thinking you were speaking of lunges and interrupting range attacks.

    Good thing is both of you have good points. HL is way to vulnerable to counters and interrupts whereas Ice is ONLY interruptable. And even that doesn't happen to often if you know when to take advantage of Avalanche and use AG as a finisher.

    Ice doesn't get countered at melee range the way HL does with MELEE attacks. That is why one issue that needs to be addressed is the Range Constructs scaling correctly under 7m.

    I'll use the latest solo as an example. That tunnel of adds upto Jesse, specifically that staff wielding wench of a demoness routinely lunges the crap out my HL and Celestial toons since are stuns and knockbacks give them immunity pretty quick. My Ice toon I use Avalanche from range to juggle them and finish with AG. Boom kills demons dead!!

    Now the kicker is half the time they are flashing white when they die. For some reason, each tick of avalanche ignores their counter immunity and keeps juggling them. Either we need that with each tick of LB and MG too or Avalanche loses theirs.

    Atomic, I'm less sure about. New toon for me only upto CR 60. Can't compare too well but TCE has a nice knockback or something and Beta Surge/Flood isn't shabby either. So far Atomic has an impressive ability to wipe the floor with adds and dead adds can't lunge. With only a little empirical experience I'd rank them as Ice>Atomic>HL>>Celestial best to worst.

    My apologies then I took the Angry comment you made and ran with it.
    What I'm referring to is not the blocking adds since we are not discussing traditional melee loadout with claws swing gloves and chainsaw. What I am referring to is that for HL once in AM, all constructs are able.to be countered. By block, lunge and interruption

    No other power (again see my point I have an Ice toon above) is that way. The chance for a HL player to have this happen is higher due to this.

    Again I want to stress how I don't want an OP power, but ai know from personal experience that testing against a dummy is NOT always accurate. One thing you are right about after GU36 and 43 I'm really really hesitant about the ability for them (the Devs) to correctly revamp this lower and it not come out OP or weak as hell.

    With the amount of stuns, knockdowns, reflects, and other things I don't see this loadout being too far ahead of other dps. One of the original flaws in our AM is having our damage completely stop on any interruption, and it still is the case. Sure the 3 sec time is helping us get this bump in damage but in raids I don't see this loadout doing more damage then others since mostly that timer will be spent on getting back up from stuns and such. Even alerts such as DC will keep you from standing still and getting off this rotation constantly.

    put minimum at 284.5 and maximum and 621.8. 15k reading was when I stopped and and the last reading is after i stopped.

    TUNSO can't nerf or adjust anything , the lodout ur speaking about is highly hard to do in time and if tunso nerf the combos , HL will be useless again . Tbh I don't wanna do the combos u doing cuz I hate mini gun and if tunso nerf the combos , why we're even bother in trying to buff it

    after testing and comparing live from test... i think Hardlight is better then its been before... nerfing it in anyway will only mess with the rotation damage then it not being balanced! Tunso has done a great job! i wont ask for more damage even though i think its a little under then most might powers! i will run more test tomorrow

    Still waiting on that video you mentioned a day ago to show yourself dps'ing. If you can't handle mediocre clipping I know you're not a good dps. Every1 else in this thread that's hopped on test and been in group with me has figured it out in 10 minutes and jr1nc picked it up immediately in less than 3. You're the only one that can't do the rotation and can't show footage and can't use a controller on pc lol I think we've established who the troll is.

    And I just solo'd the new duo at cr 151 as HL with only 2 deaths, 1 on hawkman because the adds jumped me and I couldn't get to the healing barrel on the side and a 2nd death after i killed him when extra adds spawned. I used supply drop on every boss, and orbital only on the last one. Don't talk to me about being interrupted when I just solo'd a duo without even spamming everything from home turf each fight xD

    After about an hour of testing, I'm getting pretty high 10s parsers from max range. Similar to Kuroki Honoo. Highest I've seen is 39k but I only have 4667 precision. Consistently seeing 32k to 37k every 2-3 10s rotations.

    My suggestion is to increase the cooldown of Minigun so it can't be clipped after the combo version of Ram.

    Also, people have to stop using the "but we get interrupted a lot" excuse. HL now has the 3 second grace period so quit crying about getting interrupted. Every power gets interrupted.

    I'm tired of people wanting to do max damage right away. I want EVERY power to have a ramp up time. No shortcuts! I know that's not where the game is going but it should be. The game is so mindless as it is right now with players killing adds within a couple of seconds and newer/monthly content shows it very clearly.

    If he takes the cooldown route he'll need to do it for fan as well. JR showed me a new rotation that's similar to mine but slightly better.
    Instead of minigun->ram clipped with minigun->ram, its ram->fan clipped with fan->impact etc. I don't know what other combos you can start from in terms of clipping and get good damage with but still. I'll post a uploaded video showing both rotations at mid range. since I even changed my rotation slightly.

    Hmm. Can you post a clean one at close range, mid range and full range? So basically 3 separate ones.

    Tunso I really need to state my opinion and I think some of us feel this way as well

    First of all thank you for helping the lantern community, I always have a blast testing with you.

    Now for HL

    I truly believe HL need a little more buff , not asking for a crazy jump , just a tiny bit if we want it to compete with other powers . Numbers still not that high .

    There is one loudout one of the player found that can do a good damage but you have to clip it at the right time , it's easier on keyboard and harder with a controller , and tbh I don't want that , I want to play what ever combos I desire yet I still can do a good damage .

    If you can move insp that would help a ton because I wouldn't have to spec too much power points to get it .

    You know how they can fix this, first stop their damn love affair with pet powers, then it's remembering NOT EVERY POWER IS MIGHT BASED. Oce we get those two out of the way then Light will really have a chance.
