Loving the Rip Hunter additions. This is flippin' crazy. I'll definitely be running the content all summer long for the Time Capsules and the Ally Favor alone. Btw, is there a Grains of Time breakdown here in the forums? I know the Elite Solo gives 3 GoT, 1 GoT from Rip Hunter, 8 GoT from the Weekly Journal Mission... and that's all I remember. Looks like my plan will be 45 GoT a week on every one of my characters.
This event is very nice. Great for anyone that needs items from those 2 time capsules sold at the vendor Great for anyone that needs quarks Great for anyone that needs ally favor Great for anyone that needs current level gear All in all, im impressed. Definitely keeps the playerbase busy and engaged while also making it feel worth the time investment. The additional Doctor Fate vendor items are just the cherry on top to make this game even more F2P.
Did you earn the Superman's 80th emblem when it was available all those years ago? If yes, then you can unlock it with Replay badges on every character on your account - in both regions. If you did not earn it when it was available all those years ago then you are SOL. Just like I am SOL for missing out on the original Superman emblem that I still REALLY want. I am not aware of any other Superman emblems in DCUO aside from those two.

There were 3, 2 from the Batman v Superman Emblem Swag Bag, and then the 80th Anniversary one. All are long gone as far as being available to players that don't already have them. If you snoozed when they were available, you lost. Use one of the several chest styles with a built-in Superman/House of El Emblem and make do with that.
