Funniest things you've seen or done in a boss fight

Years ago, there was a bug that would allow a troller to stun bosses. It was pretty funny to watch because most of those models were not designed to have a stun animation.

This was during Home Turf's release. Fully powered orbital strikes had the chance to stun enemies (by trolls using a particular back mod)...and in the beginning that included lower level bosses, until it was fixed. Hilarious. I loved watching the Avatar of Meta on its back like a roach.

That was the other one...and they fixed that too. They never intended bosses to be stunned or transformed like that.

Come to think of it, I do recall running happiness home a few years ago and one of the tanks was using explosive block. All you could see was lashina constantly fly across the room, I was like "does she jump now??" "No, the tank has explosive block on."

Let the low levels fight the boss because they said I was killing everything before they could do anything let them all wipe then kill the boss is my most memorable moment. Funny to me!

Seen that a few times...which I couldn't say is worst than a tank using mass shadow conconctions...which I have also seen a couple times.

I have also seen non- tanks use provocation agents.

Why someone would do that still confuses me.

When scoreboard chasers ignore anri-monitor to farm qwa-bombs on the adds that spawn is a funny sight to behold.

My league and I were doing the last part of Elite Victory with all bosses amd the commander.
Our tank had 40-some adds on him and was tanking them just fine. We were all on The Ultimate Soldier and he had about 2% health. Then, the adds from Ghost spawned ON our tank, who couldn't move due to being surrounded, dropped the bomb that one-shot him and the adds all attacked us and we wiped. What are the odds that the add with a bomb would spawn on our tank??
Another gem is from FOS SM 2017. We were about to kill the boss to finish off round 14 and get our pets. The boss literally had no green on his health bar and killed our healer and the DPS closest to her runs over to pick her up. He, however, decided it would be funny to t-bag her until last second to mess with her. The boss decides to drop aggro on the tank, attack the t-bagger, and we lost both him and the healer. The other DPSes all scrambled over to them and were instantly killed. I was trolling and had switched to DPS in a last-ditch effort to finish him off but was one-shot myself. We were all speechless until the silence was finally broken by laughter.

1)When Home Turf came out, if everyone hit Orbital Strike at the same time, they could stun an avatar on the Prime battlefield.

2)I'm not sure if this counts, but back before mark consolidation, when Marks of Speed (or Velocity) were a thing, I was in a team doing the regular Rogues hunt. We'd finished Metropolis, and started on Gotham when I saw this on Shout.

OMG, he's killing everybody!
He's one-shotting people left and right!

It went on like that for a while. Heat Wave had shown up in front of the Diamond District police station, somebody attacked him, and he proceeded to wipe the floor with everyone around. He was still up when we got there, so we got to have our fight breathlessly narrated by someone who was far enough not to die.

3) When Hands of Fate was first released, the final boss battle was in the open world. My character was flying through Gotham, and saw a bunch of people fighting Tala. I figured I'd be nice, and cast CoP to help them. Instead, I accidentally cast Circle of Destruction, and had to run from a couple of the adds.
And that's how I got the speed feat for "Black Dawn," an operation that my character was too low level to even queue for.

T5 Raid: Paradox Wave

Paradox Oppressor Boss (in the first tunnel on the right w/ Ninja Batman)

This boss has a unique attack when he throws both arms back, a player will be targeted and a ball will drop on them, encasing them. This ball cannot be broken out of and the player will die when it explodes after five seconds. The player will also die if the ball is smashed, thrown, or broken in any way.

Whenever someone got encased... I had a female leaguemate who would ALWAYS pick you up (inside the ball)... and THROW YOU RIGHT AT THE BOSS!!! LMAO.

She figured you were about to get KO'd anyway... so why not use your carcass as 'bait', for a few laughs.

It's was hilarious... because she would always give everyone FAIR WARNING that she was gonna do it, beforehand.

But nobody would ever believe her... until they were in MID-AIR... being tossed right into the Oppressor's 'path of destruction'.

Good Times. lol

T6 Raid: Hall of Hades

The Free-Roaming Cerebus (A monstrous 3-headed dog who guards the gates of Tartarus to prevent the dead from leaving... and the living from entering.)

When this raid first dropped... listening to the SHEER PANIC of players who accidentally took a 'wrong turn' and encountered The Cerebus roaming the Halls.... WAS ABSOLUTELY COMICAL. (Guaranteed.)

Sure, sometimes folks got upset. (Or maybe 'rage quit'.)

But I would bet my last dollar that EVERYONE IN DCUO... who has ever run this raid (at level) numerous times... has had AT LEAST ONE hilarious (and totally unexpected) run-in with this diabolical beast, at some point.

• Maybe you were the one who was 'screaming profanities'... while trying to escape.
• Maybe it was a leaguemate who was 'talking smack'... and got ambushed, mid-sentence.
• Or maybe it was a random PUG... who got lost while tying to 'catch up' to the rest of the group.
• Or any combination of the above.

But if you use a mic... there was DEFINITELY a time when you laughed really hard... when that daggone CEREBUS 'caught someone slipping' ... and started chewing their head off.

THE. FEAR. WAS. REAL.

We were in an E3 raid, first boss fight, in the first week, all with our "serious faces" on figuring it out.. my league mate pops his supply drop.. he had forgotten to recharge his generator or something - out of the blue I hear.. "oh.. only 2 of my balls have dropped" or something similar.. and we all just started laughing our heads off.. funnily enough i do not think we wiped

My league used to carry mass shadow concoctions on all there tanks. For the soul purpose of killing dps that run ahead and expect the tanks to save them on adds. We always waited till the boss fight bring the boss to that particular dps and then pop one of those. Instant death.

Were either of them blue?
