Yes we all know this. This thread has been going for 14 months now, it's just someplace for people to discuss the possibility.

IIRC, the devs' main rationale for not introducing water-based powers was not because of the (fallacious) "ice=water" argument, but rather due to system (PS3) limitations. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but Spytle's cryptic remarks during Trexlight's Q&A interview at SOE Live 2014 give me hope that water might still be on the horizon (after serums, atomic, and munitions of course).

See Jens blatantly dodge the water ("aquatic") power question @17:45. Then @ 27:42 he references a "much requested healing power" that needs more R&D before it can be released.

Maybe I'm reaching, but I'm not ready to give up hope just yet...

I don't buy the "technological limitations" argument at all. There is the possibility that a developer dreamed up some magnificent version of the power that they just couldn't make work, and that's where the claim comes from, but that doesn't rule out some sort of water power. Just color a few other powers blue and that's a start. The "Deep One" summoning is already enabled by trinkets, so that's further. Melding water into semi-solid shapes is hardly different in principle than doing it with light. The truth is that it's just not a priority, possibly because DC thinks nobody likes Aquaman, and possibly because water plays little part in gameplay (you can't go under it, and it doesn't really slow anyone down), but it would be possible if they set their mind to it.

I can't recall word for word from Spytle at the SOE Live event,( and he could have beeb pulling everyones leg), but he said something to the effect "Don't want to WET your appetite, don't want to STRETCH the truth, give you HOPE for things we want to do....".
Now more than likely as I said, he was probably joking, but it would be cool if those key words I highlighted were possibly the next round of powers after Munitions, Atomic and Serums?
Maybe?

Water powers, please!

Water powers are never coming into this game until PS3 is dropped. PS3 cannot handle those type of animations. If you play warframe on ps4 or ps3, you can look at hydra animations and see that his water powers are very complex and couldnt have been possible if on the ps3.

Leviathan (Supercharge: 25%)

Summons 4 Brine Hatchlings to attack and taunt enemies for 60 seconds or until killed.

Jellyfish

Dude you need to be a dev on this game you will make this game wayy better they should hire you...asap

Every time I get on Injustice I pick Aquaman just to complain that water powers should be in dc already.
