    Hello & Greetings! :)

    Dear Devs:
Since i've returned to the game after a few months, I've noticed that the game is struggling with a lack of smooth gameplay as it used to be before, even though my computer is generating a high amount of FPS when i turn V-Sync Off, a stuttering at 500FPS is hardly noticed and the game feels exactly like at 60 FPS. It honestly makes no difference if i turn V-Sync ON or OFF, the game runs exactly the same on both modes.

Everyone whom I know has this performance issues and exact the same following problems. I come to the conclusion that it is not the fault of our computers but unfortunately the game itself or its server conectivity.
I would like to ask you devs to look up into this problem and if possible solve it. Thank You.

They don’t care. Many threads before you that have asked multiple times about frame stutter and 0 dev comments. This game isn’t even being monitored. Just look how long they go without making any kind of post with their staff tracker. Lol, game must be backyard development atp.

In my opinion, this is a bit inappropriate thinking because this company expect us to play/pay for this game.

I'm pretty sure they want us players to use/play their product, but firstly they need to make it enjoyable to play so we can have a really good gaming experience, without this we have nothing to talk about honestly.

Devs if you read this, one question: How you want to bring people to play, when your game is unplayable?

I've closed that other thread and moved the this one to the Arkham bug reports section instead.

You may want to include screenshots of:
    • your game settings,
    • along with your Game Configuration settings from the Launcher (Advanced Tools button > Game Configuration > DC Universe Online Options dialog),
    • and your nvidia settings (make sure it's pointing to the game, and not to the launcher, usually \Users\Public\Daybreak Game Company\Installed Games\DC Universe Online\UNREAL3\BINARIES\WIN64\DCGAME.EXE, in nvidia Control Panel>3D>3D>Program Settings)
Keep in mind that though you can run the game at a higher framerate, it's only a 60fps game, so you may run into the difficulties you're describing with stuttering and tearing, because there aren't any extra frames. I haven't tried it myself, but you might want to try it with vsync on, but handled by nvidia instead of by the game, so the gpu can do whatever adaptive stuff it's designed to do.

    Hello Undrline. :)
Thank you for the attention and willigness!

This is my Ingame/Launcher Configuration settings:
BTW: I use Steam to play DCUO.

The Nvidia Controll Panel Settings regarding DC Universe Online are all on default by (Use 3D Application Settings) Besides Option (Max Frame Rate, i have it locked at 525 FPS)

In DCUO, try turning on VSYNC, and turn on Allow 60 FPS. I had trouble with my camera losing track of my character, and stuttering and that helped me. If it is still not working, in the Nvidia app, adjust the DCUO program settings. You may want to have Max frame Rate turned off. My Global Setting has MAX frame turned off as well. This helped me.

    Hey Undrline. :)

So, i have honestly tried everything i could to try to fix described issues of micro freezes/stutters/fps drops and so on...
Sadly nothing worked out. But from what i know is that the latest Nvidia Drivers from series *581.xx* had very negative performance impact for all games.

I think this happened after Cross-Faction update, the game is struggling with Disconnects/Laggs/Fps drops/Stuttering and many other performance issues.

In my case the stuttering is kind of weird because no matter what nvidia drivers/settings i'll use the game runs exactly the same, but the stuttering can not be seen through recorded video just when playing game itself.

Thread is a thread. This have to be reported in the bug section and up voted.
Since noone did that earlier and haven't up voted i'm pretty sure no changes will be done.

I do hope they can fix it for you, along with the PS5 Frame Skipping that's been around since launch over like 1.5 years ago that has been reported many many times.

I think the issue is that their current focus is on maximizing profits, not player experience. Otherwise they may have fixed the voice chat issue that's been going on almost 2 years now

They may say trying to Uninstall and Reinstall. Could try a Support Ticket maybe?

Like DDice suggested I would suggest following my guide on using vulkan for DCUO, especially if you are playing using fullscreen mode like your screenshot shows.

Make sure you follow the part of the guide that has you set the FPS cap to a multiple of 60, DCUO has an issue with the camera movement code being tied to 60 updates a second. If you have a FPS cap that is not a multiple of 60 your camera position updates will not be spaced evenly, resulting in it feeling a bit off.
