Foreshadowing Vampire powers!

It's official you guys, Vampire powers will eventually be a playable power. New back piece called Speed-Metal has dropped and it is even more obvious. So now we have bat trinkets, henchman, accessories, styles etc. Also, if people say "it won't happen because rage is bluh, bluh, bluh." Then why did water come out when we already have ice? Isn't ice literally frozen water? But here we are with both water and ice powers so why not think it's possible for Vampire powers to eventually drop? People of the DCUO community, I call it now! The next Healer power will be Vampire power! Come at me!!!!

You know what foreshadowing means? The new speed-metal back style "are" bats regardless of who its based on. You can be sneaky when foreshadowing anything. I'm calling it, our healer power will be Vampirism/Vampire power.

Why did water come out when we have ice?
2 reasons really:

1) it was by far and wide the most requested power, probably in the history of DCUO
2) its canon with DC Lore

Besides, rage and "vampire" are both blood, water and ice are different. You'll go through this in science but ones a solid and another is a liquid, and if your body was 60% ice instead of 60% water, you'd be dead. Almost as fast as a "vampire" powered hero/villain would be as soon as he/she stepped into sunny Metropolis.

True ancestor/Noble vampires are unaffected by sunlight. Why not base our powers from them?

Also water and ice are 100% the same in substance it's just one is frozen. There is no other difference than that.

Because basing something on some fan fiction version of a fictional race is terrible. Vampires are vampires, they dont sparkle, they dont have souls and there arent versions who can withstand daylight. They're the ultimate nighttime nightmare, if you want daytime vampires you'll need to go find a Marvel game and hang out with Blade. DC even recognised this in their Elseworlds stories, thats why they picked Batman to turn into a vampire.

Theres no foreshadowing here im afraid, it was a Dark Nights: Metal tie-in style, thats all.

Every power had an iconic DC character to base the power and costume style during the character creation.
Who would be the heroic and villainous DC vampires to use here?

Dracula was a DC villain. Then there was Cain...

Um...you do know Superman was turned into a vampire by Dracula right?

Lol you are definitely reaching. Even if we do get more powers it will be quite some time before it happens and there are far more sought after powers than vampire.

I hear what you are saying but I feel it in my gut that the next Healing power will be Vampirism/Vampire. We will have to wait a good while until then anyway since the next powers are troll then tank.

You realize they have stated there are no plans for future powers, right?

They said the same thing about not releasing water years back because it was so similar to ice. Now look what happened. But if they do take a break from completely new powers and focus on the others that already exist then in OK with that too. I made a thread about that very topic a few weeks back.
