"For those of you that DONT do raids " ?! right...nice excuse

in the webcast , they say the reason for the rehashed content (i.e inner T4 "alert" ) is to allow more people to see their" awesome" worrk that normally wouldnt see it becasue they dont do raids...NOT because its easier to rehash content instead of making original content....please...enough already..stop


who in here , can say that they NEVER have done a raid ??!!!! really ??

they make raids so easy, then they make them even easier in the form of "novice" raids..

please devs, lets just be honest here.

Anyone serious about playing this game does Raids. You get more marks, you need the feat points, and they are generally more fun.

I've met people who don't raid, but they are casual players who do not dish out tons of money and have no desire to complete all content on here for the most part.

When they announced personal lairs (some coined Barbie Dream houses) and more solo mission, you and me both thought, who wants to do solitary things in this MMO game? Boy were we wrong....

I don't mind, more MoWs for me. Besides, I would like to do raid like content with a small group of friends instead of 8 people every so often.

If people are posting here, odds are they're pretty hardcore. That's not who this Alert is for.

There are tens of thousands of casuals out there who don't come to the boards and don't like the hassle of Raids ... and I'm guessing that they outnumber us by quite a bit. For many of them, playing an MMO is secondary to playing a game in the DC Universe.

The devs are doing their best to cater to all kinds of needs.

its not that hard and doesn't take that long to put a raid group together.

For some people it does. Not everyone on the villains side likes to play as a healer or troller.

That's great and all, but anyone know how are all these players getting through to Devs, since I haven't seen half of what they've implemented in the game being requested here or on the old forums.

And the suggestions and request we discuss here some times don't get to see the light of day.

if these "people" can run the new inner t4 alert

it would be logical to assume they would have the proper gear ? woulndt you say ? to mabye succeed at it ?

anyone who has "said gear" would HAVE to have run a raid or two ? wouldnt you say ?

and if they the gear and cr to properly run this T4 alert, then they can basically 4 man outer, khandaq, sub..and guess what....the origianl inner raid ?

"patience to wait around for a raid " ??!! really ? they have that much ADD they cant wait 15 minutes ? tops ? i see all kinds of people shouting for all the raids..outer, khandaq etc.

When I was new a month or two after launch I thought raids were impossible. (Used to que) many others probably feel that way that are getting into the game now and never even bother to try shouting. If this makes them happy then good on them. They can see all content through. Wish there were more for us that have beaten every raid already hundreds of times though.

Um... Deathmark on this very forum never played a raid for a long time. (Not sure if he has yet.)

Getting gear is easy to do. Getting marks is easy to do. You don't have to run any 8 man content to get to full T4 in every aspect.

Solo content with DLC6 gives you 74 item level pieces. It also gives you 131 weapons, rings, neck.
T4 4 man Op gives you 72 item level pieces.

Both give you a chance at getting a utility belt.

This may be a re-use of existing content, but IT IS AN UPDATE! It's not a dlc. Save your dang QQ threads for DLC7. Sheesh. Be glad they added another way of getting MoW. One that you can actually queue for, unlike raids, which forming a team is easier than trying to explain what PoT is to a controller wearing full t4 dps gear.

What it is, its more like inner is too hard for people who are 89 cr 40 sp toon.. and cant be carried. So they made it into an alert so people can see it, understand the mechanics.. and eventually pass a t2 raid in their t4 where they cant zerg rush it..

Please devs make the next raids like inner and fos2, with touches of new stuff you want. Lets keep raids as the hardest content in the game.

I dont mind raids being made into alerts - since when you over gear the content and have exp in the game people are 4 manning raids anyway.

but really, show me a full t4 person thats gotten there withough running ANY raid, and got gear STRICKLY AND EXCLUSIVELY trough wayward and ONLY wayward since ops are 8 man "raids"

this new t4 alert isnt for NEW people , that have been here for a "month or two" its for highly geared, end game players.

Honestly, I Think all the BC/fos raids should already have alert versions of them out. If they weren't so slow at pushing out content they already would be. But i disagree with inner being a t4.

Should go..
Outer T2
Inner T3 <------ T2 raids start at T2 and work up
Sub T4
that would in turn line us up for our fos alert versions.. which should be already out also
Fos1 T3
Fos2 T4 <--------- T3 start at T3 and work up
Fos3 T5

But then again that would make to much sense, and we can't have any of that.
