can we please get a fix to this? and by that i mean a fix to the crooked out of socket wings on flying and non-flying skimming/acrobatic characters. it's very distracting having winged back styles be tilted to the right nearly 90 degrees and having the wings lopsided instead of straight across the back.
For eight years to be exact (and technically, it's not the posture: the wings are fine when not in flight, they just 'slip' when you start flying or even hovering)
Well it is the posture of your body that is making the wings crooked. Your character's shoulders and back (spine) are usually leveled while not in flight and standing straight up. Certain stances like with the flirty personality on females, you don't stand straight at all (hand on hip, leaning) and can see the wings appear slightly off center if viewing from above. But the wings themselves are not off center, they just don't align with every varying pose. When you go into flight mode, your body shifts into that awkward stance where it looks like you're carrying your weight to one side (shoulders angled, spine crooked) and your wings just stay leveled as if you were standing straight.
And it's not just wings, it's all back pieces. It's more noticeable on wings, split capes and other symmetrical pieces.
here it's especially obvious from the front. while not a game breaking thing it is rather annoying to have to look at constantly.
Certainly looks like the torso is straight to me, butt then again, am a complete drooling idiot in some peoples' opinion (and ignore the old image from 2011 when the legs were positioned different to how they are now, that showed the wings being crooked while the body was straight)
can't really tell it from the pictures but the wings are a nearly acute 90 degree angle on the back and make it look absolutely lopsided from certain view points.
I have been begging for them to fix the crooked flight on acrobatic flapping wings for years.... They have a lot to do and they fix ticket errors quickly. I will take fast ticket response over graphical responses. BUT YES PLEASE FIX THESE PROBLEMS!!!!!!
Don't have images to show, and only have two active fliers, butt it seems the problem is with the moving wing styles (Glittery Wings, Blood Bat, Small Bird Wing, Small Demon Wings, even the Insectoid where the wings shift out of the sockets) Ignore the personality types (Haasts is beast, so is crouched over when not in flight mode) and look at the Closet image (which is the same for all personality types) and compare the placement of the wings on the back in there with how they look when you close the Inventory windowJust spent (way too much) time checking with Haasts wearing the Atlantean Warsuit chest (with that nice watery 'V' in the middle of the back), Aegis of Azaroth stays in the same place regardless of the change in body position (closet, flight, standing), same with Aerial Defender, Biomech, Contemporary Tech. They 'tilt' because the spine 'tilits' The cloaks 'hang' differently when in flight because the spine shifts, butt the top of the cloak remains in place across the shoulders, which results in the hem being straight while the rest looks crooked The moving wing styles (Glittery Wings, Blood Bat, Small Bird Wing, Small Demon Wing) all slip down on the left, with the Rainbow Butterfly being the worst: it literally shifts over completely to the left shoulder blade Haasts doesn't have the Split cape, will try later with Blacque
Preaching to the choir: completely agree about the flapping wings, the stationary wings (at least the ones Haasts has) are fine (can't compare in flight if you can't wear them outside of the closet), same with the other back pieces
Just tried the backs with Blaqcue, and hadn't noticed that the Blood Bat wings... are not attached to her back at all!!! (they slip just as badly, just never noticed they don't actually connect) The Dark Specter Batsuit retain its position, aligned with her spine, in all three views (the only change is due to her stance changing, butt still retains alignment), same with Divine, Gadgeteer, Hera's Strength, Retro Tech, Speed-Force Spectrum & Tech Ninja Glittery Wings slip Nth-Metal Battlesuit move to the left so that the right wing now rests directly on the spine with the left under the armpit Rainbow Butterfly moves from being on either side of the spine, to both wings being on the left shoulder blade Small Demon Wings moves from the small of the back (at the base of the water-V on the Warsuit) to both wings being on the left) She doesn't have many cloaks, butt the few she does have, remain straight across the shoulders even in flight
By the by, finally found one of the names on your list, they were not as inviting as I had hoped. Pretty much the same jazz: "I don't know you, no." Can you give me a time to be on so possibly we can run those repeats of Survival before it is gone?
