Flags from other nations

I was curious if there are plans to add flag poles with flags from other nations to the game.

Probably not because of politics. Some countries would have to be intentionally left out of the mix and that would upset some people.

The best country flag is already in the game. You know, the center of the earth and universe ^-^

They have actually already opened that can of worms by introducing the american flag. I guess other nations also don't matter in the DC universe as well.

And that is why they cannot add Flags to the game.

It's a lose lose scenario.

There are 195 Countries....

So even if they were to give us a Flag pack with lets say.... 20 Flags..... then you will have 175 people that will complain that the DC Universe does not care about their nation.... that their nation does not matter in DCUO.

Even worse... here we have the Canadian Flag and the Quebec Flag.
So if they give us the Canadian Flag.... I can already see people ask why the Quebec Flag was not included.

Unless they add All 195 Flags all at once..... and all other Flags in the world......
they will open the door for all the people who will complain that their Flag does not matter in DCUO.

Seeing as the bulk of the population of the game is on the US servers, a bunch of the stories in the game take place IN the US(fictional US cities...but US still the same) and the development team is located IN the US, it would make sense that the US flag would make an appearance in the game.

Now, could they add a flag from the EU? Sure....but to keep it even, just one. Now...you all decide what EU country flag is best. We all know you folks are pretty good about calmly discussing things about which country is best....right?

The stereotypical discrimination display? Or the deleting of the base item? Both of which happen thousands of times / day in game already.

It's great to be able to deny that the rest of the world doesn't exist because they are the minority? Does that not fit into the definition of discrimination?

I didn't get to choose which flag to represent NA, why should there only be 1 chosen to represent the EU?
