Yeah, because they don't have Pym in The Avengers yet (do they?), and this would be a great introduction, like how they did the Hulk, Iron Man, Cap, Thor movies first, introducing them as 'solo' players before putting them together in a team movie (easier to introduce a new character on their own, then trying to fit their origin alongside five others in one movie, and still have time for the huge boss fight)

I think that fantastic four is gonna be freaking amazing. If people watch josh trank the directors bonus trailer commentary with the writer of the script it makes a lot more sense after watching the trailer. But Its gonna be awesome the writer is amazing, the director is amazing, Miles teller just came off whiplash if anybody hasn't seen it needs to its amazing and got JK an Oscar and miles was great in it. Hes **** in divergent and all that he halfway tainted his career doing those ****** tween movies of dispare and fake realities where the one girl can save them all by loving the right guy. But Micheal b Jordan is gonna be amazing as human torch hes teaming back up with the director of chronicle to do this again and in it he looked like human torch flying around and stuff hes done the wire work and green screen already and nailed it, and he should have got an award for fruitvale station. Both amazing talented young actors that have huge careers ahead of them. The invisible girl idk about but everybody loved her on the show she just did. The Thing isn't that great of an actor but he was just in nymphomaniac vol 1 and 2 with shia labouf and the guy from true bloods dad that was in thor 1 and 2. But we won't see him much he'll be the thing early on I think. They haven't showed us anything in the trailers and pics from set really yet to keep it a mystery they had some troubles on set but they kept it professional and under wraps an once that trailer dropped it set a new fire in peoples minds of how different an awesome this is gonnna be compared to the first two films that were garbage. The thing that we have to worry about in reality is dr. doom, makin him a blogger could be an amazing way to tie him into how dangerous trolls could be with access to hacking bombs and gov munitions and shutting down the entire grid of how our world works now. Or if could be a complete failure lol, Having dr doom and mr fantastic I think are the two skeptical parts of the film that they have to overcome.. they gotta make fantastic cool while being elastic and stretching and do stuff that wasn't in the incredibles which was a great movie and make his powers cool. But Tobey Kebbel who is playing doom is great and just came off playing the villain in planet of the apes and did a great job. This is a film that is being made and produced by Fox studios and so it along with X-men days of future past and apocalypse will all seem to have the same tone cuz I think they are gonna cross them over in the future and make them team up and want to have them in the same tone of film. Deadpool is gonna be a totally different tone to lighten up their properties since they are going dark gritty serious tone in the xmen and f4 films fox can cover more areas using deadpool to be the comedic relief and lighter tone side of their superhero films that they own the rights to. Theres no way in hell that Fox will ever give up the studio rights to X-men, F4 and deadpool back to marvel and Disney. They know they have millions if not billions potentially in their possession and Disney and marvel have too much on their plate as it is with all their slate for 20 years they couldn't even give the right time to makin f4 and stuff so I'm glad that fox has the rights as long as they continue to deliver good improving films, xmen dofp was great great way to fix al the ******** from xmen that had hgappened over the years. And from what I see of deadpool fox has their properties under control and somebody over there knows what they're planning for them. DC and WB is on board with their super hero slate through green lantern and I know they'll slide in a man of steel 2 and 3 and a Batman v Superman 2 and 3 or batman solo film hopefully directed by ben Affleck in their slate theyre just keepin it to give a big reveal later cuz marvel is dropping 3 films a year and so is fox and I know that dc isn't gonna miss that check as well. Fox already announce a channing tatum gambit film as well. And Collusus has been recast to play in the deadpool film which is awesome cuz they really didn't use him like they could have in xmen and also means that deadpool could be showing up in xmen as well. So all good things coming from Fox and this f4 trailer to me was a step in the right direction. Just seeing the flames come on Johnny storm without him saying "flamer on" is great and give me chills watching it as he touched maybe his dead dad at the lab. The fire for him was the best cgi fire I think ever done in any superhero film, better than superman in mos, better than the old human torch way better than xmen dofp. And the things that they are gonna do with invisible woman is gonna be awesome it looks like she can do like a bomb radius force explosions or barriers which is a definite upgrade from nose bleeding latino bleach blonde inv. woman in the past. a lot of people hate on f4 from the trailer from past films and from just jumping on the bandwagon of people hating on the film cuz people on youtube talk **** about them and swayed kids to listen before they even seen the film. But its gonna be a sleeper hit cuz opening day its gonna do ok, the second say still opening weekend after its on the news and word of mouth and twitter blows up and **** its gonna double its numbers from the opening day I think. I love comic book films and comics and talk allday on youtube about them lol. I watch hours and hours of commentary and people discussing the films and I truly think that f4 is gonna def be green lit for sequel and they're already planning it into a fox connected universe.....now will they strike a deal with Disney and marvel like sony done with spiderman to allow their characters into a marvel avengers type film with letting them use wolverine and deadpool....idk lol. That's still up for debate on how they do I guess if they completely fail maybe it will be talked about but I think its safe to say that fox is gonna have a death grip on those properties for years to come. And Its fine as long as they keep putting out good films and they know now that its a diff world than when the first two came out and now they actually can make bank on the ones that they own the rights too because they were the original superheros they were marvels first comic book superheros f4 and xmen and wolverine was also marvels batman and superman or something I would argue that xmen was way more popular than any character in avengers except for hulk before marvels cinematic universe got launched making them popular. I mean marvel doesn't own any of their grade A heros and DC owns all theirs that's why I can't wait for batman v superman and suicide squad its gonna be freaking amazing. The pics of Jason mamoa as aquaman makes him look more badass than any superhero in films now and he was once the shamed character for years. One pic fixed that. lol But Affleck is gonna crush it as dark knight returns batman. He looked like bruce wayne at the Oscars as himself lol. DC is gonna be huge next year after bvs comes out, I mean marvel had to come up with gaurdians of the galaxy and captain marvel and the inhumans because they sold their rights to xmen and F4 and sinister six. imagine how much money Disney marvel would have made if they actually had their a list heros and not D list lol. But DC is gonna crush them in the future cuz of that I think. once they get the ball rolling it will be unstoppable. But as for f4 I think it will be a sleeper hit and will make new fans out of people who didn't know anything about them or just from the 2 previous films.
I'm not sure where the confidence comes from, Fox can't even put together a good Hugh Jackman Wolverine movie together. The last one was only decent and that's already going by the low bar the first one set. And after 5 X-men movies and a mostly excellent cast, the main thing that we got from the last movie was that it was finally fixed and could finally move forward.
they weren't, at all. johnny was white and he and sue were blood relatives, and doom was still not a blogger/hacker or anything on that ground. nick fury and hulk are the only two characters who's skin colors were different in ultimate, and that's only because for the ultimates run hulk was grey which like his primary universe version didn't last that long and went back to green.
Forget the Fantastic 4; they can be Scottish-Korean quadruplets for all I care. The only thing that actually bothers me about this reboot is Doom. Dr. Doom is one of the best villains in all of Marvel comics, and there's no way they can possibly do him justice if he isn't in a metal suit with a green cloak and speaking in the third person. He's supposed to be a super genius and master sorcerer that rules Latveria with a literal iron fist and has an army of Doombots at his command. He's started world wars, and helped end them. He's killed gods and saved the world a few times. He's a top tier antagonist, and this hacker version of him sounds so incredibly small-time that it actually bothers me a little bit. However, it is an origin story, so if they can manage to elevate this lowly nerd Doom to even a fraction of the real Doom's level then I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Thing looks like Thing, but Johnny doesn't look like Johnny, and Reed's face is far too punchable. From what i've seen of Doom so far, he'll be a joke too. The casting has been terrible. Just as bad as casting for Justice League, and movie really doesn't give off a FF vibe, with the only familiarity being character names.
They're probably not going to heavily promote Ant-man and the Avengers at the same time, it's over-kill and a waste of resources to do that. Ant-man will probably start getting the push after the Avengers: AOU release.

They really can't do superhero movies very well. I really don't understand of this mantra I love the material but must change things. I just watched Punisher Warzone and it was a pretty lame and dull movie. The one with John Travolta in it was a superior one, but not much better. Warzone had nothing special or powerful in it, it was just a mindless hoot 'em up movie. Although I do loves me some Julie Benz. What made the previous Punisher movie somewhat better was that the Punisher actually used some psychological warfare to bring the bad guy down. Still it was pretty much one step up from Warzone.
I agree, I simply can't stand it when the hero is in the middle of the room surrounded by guns and all the hero does is twirl around and somehow never get shot and kills everyone else like in Warzone. Unless the heroes are in the Matrix. The Thomas Jane Punisher used some tactics for his final assault even if it's just an explosive surprise and quickly moving through the room with efficient movement and shooting while they were disoriented. And he was still shot, though his body armor did its job.
Actually in Warzone the Punisher was successfully ambushed and shot in the back, but he was wearing body armor. now don't get me wrong, I do like me some good shoot them up scenes, but I just don't like mindless shoot them up movies. I like my movie to have some story and substance to it.
so far the only reason i'd see this movie is if it's revealed that they show ben's great aunt petunia.
